    Good day
Well, not such a good day for you @Flumpy . It is probably the water pump. Make sure when you talk to someone (repair guy?) to tell them that it will not drain/pump and give them the model information. Pumps are not too expensive and don't take long to trade out. I've done them myself so if I can do it, service people would find it a breeze!

I couldn't get back online for most of the day yesterday as we had one of our rare power outages. First time in about 10 years or so. And of all the dastardly things, it rained throughout the blackout so I didn't want to be outside either! So I was flipping through my gardening books instead and discovered that a couple of my perennials are placed incorrectly and yes, I'm the one who planted them.

It is cloudy this morning and the guessers have said it will rain a good part of the day. I went out and scolded a rabbit this morning. I told him if he started nibbling my seedlings, I'd call in the big guns, Mr. McGregor, to deal with him!

It's a corrie morning and I'm going to treat myself to a PG tips pot of tea. Have a lovely day everyone.

    Cheers :coffee:

Good News!! And thank god for YouTube!, I noticed on our washer it kept flashing on the digital display F05 hotpoint, so typed this in YouTube and there was a guide on what to do, I had an hair clip stuck in the filter which was easily removed and hey presto! It’s working again woohoo :hapfeet:

Good morning and a lovely one it is too....for now but rain is set to creep in by mid afternoon.

The only blot on the horizon is a dental app. this morning . It's 4th time lucky and to be honest I still can't believe they haven't cancelled it.....yet!

Hopefully I'll get another border planted out today....maybe even two. The one I want to do today is another big one so I'll see how it goes for time and rain showers.:fingers crossed:

          Enjoy your day.

It is a grey, breezy start to the day and I have no idea what may happen but I don't think there will be any buildings going on. Sigh!

            Enjoy your day everyone.

                Good day
It is 45f 6c but the sun has risen without clouds impeding it's brightness.

@Upsydaisy I only have 4 coleus left to plant out and just figured out where to put them. I'll plant them amongst the primula so as they grow they will shade the primula which will soon finish blooming. At least that's what I'm hoping for. :fingers crossed:

@Victoria the waiting part for work to be done is so nasty. It's like, "hurry up and wait!". It's unfortunate that not everything can be DIY.

@Flumpy I am so glad it was down to a silly old hairpin!

I've decided that since I have freshly baked bread and rolls, I should use the power of the sun to hard cook some eggs in the sunoven to make egg salad for sandwiches. And then slow cook some spaghetti sauce to add another high carb meal to the menu! I've got to start cutting back soon as my slacks are starting to get a little snug!

                Take care all.

                Cheers :coffee:

The problem is it was a DIY to begin with! :yikes: Typically, it was a fantastic job done, just not 100% finished as is the norm. :rolleyespink: Now we pay people to do the jobs ... or so I thought!

Good morning everyone, I hope you're all well today.

I didn't get anything done in the garden yesterday apart from a bit of watering and taking a few photos. I walked to the Dentist and back taking a detour to see my sister on the way back so that along with a busy day on Sunday I think caught up on me and left me feeling a tad tired . Instead I did a bit in the house and video called my brother....who seemed very chirpy. :)

This morning we are visiting friends who we haven't seen for ages so we're really looking forward to that.

All being well a dose of gardening this afternoon will round our day of nicely.

                    Have a great day.

Holding our breath to see if the builders come today. It is going to be very windy so will be fun if they plan to put the six meter panels up!

                      No other plans.

                          Good day
It is sunny and 45f again. 7c that is.

                          @Victoria , ditto what @Upsydaisy said!

I've got a lot of little chores/errands to get done today. Chores at home this morning and shopping just after lunch. One thing I'm determined to get is some liquid bandaid. Basically medical crazy glue. My fingers and thumbs keep splitting open from working with dirt and water in cool temperatures. I try to remember to put on gloves but many of the jobs like wiring are just too fiddly for gloves. The glue will be great. Doesn't look very nice but it stops the bleeding and pain and lets the splits heal.

And I'd best get my skates on here. It is going to be a Hilda Ogden morning. The added bonus of wet hair and working outside in the cool air.

                          Cheers :coffee:

Not sure exactly what we're doing today might embark on the trip over to see my brother but that's not a definite yet.

We'll see how the day unfolds.

The sun is trying to come through and there is a light breeze rather than the unpleasant winds of the last few days.

I have been told the builders will arrive today ... but I don't know for how long!

                              Have a good day everyone.

Pleased to report the builders arrived at 9.30 and there is much noise going on. Hopefully they will work more than half a day and make some progress. At least it is overcast and cooler today. Apparently they are several jobs on the go. :nonofinger:
