    Good day
My plans for yesterday were ruined by the fact that the lawyer needed a bunch more paperwork drawn up and notarized. The place where I went to get things notarized was nice but I got lost when I left the office of the notary and wandered around a mouse maze of hallways! I finally found one of those "you are here and in case of fire, this way to exit" posters and used it to get out. Too bad I never found the chunk of cheese. :heehee:

All of the rubbish, recycle, brown bag (leaf/garden debris) are at the kerb waiting for pick up and things always seem a bit cleaner when I've had a good clear out.

The skies look promising today. Clouds are breaking up and brilliant blue is peeping through.

I've got my usual Saturday chores to do and with this promising sky, I think I'll get some food ready to cook in the sun oven. :)

Sounds like we're all having a calm Saturday. And good thing too, it was a busy week!

    Cheers :coffee:

Wow now it’s raining cats and dogs! :yikes: But on the plus side, I’ve just cut our lawn so it will do it good

Hmmm, can't upload a file this morning. So, Morning everyone. :spinning:

Too true Upsy. Our lows are often your highs.

Nothing planned here, just a quiet Sunday, a bit of pottering and probably a movie this afternoon.

Have a peaceful day whatever you do.

            Good day
It looks like it's going to be a repeat of yesterday. 57f 12c and light clouds are playing in the sun. The guessers say it will go up to 72f 25c which will be lovely.

Today is another Hilda Ogden day and I will be puttering in the kitchen while my beloved Corrie plays the usual Sunday morning 6 episode Omnibus.

            Have a wonderful day!

            Cheers :coffee:

Good morning everyone, hope you all had a lovely weekend and are now ready to face what the week throws your way.

Today it's supposedly going to chuck some much needed rain our way......:fingers crossed:.

Got quite a bit done yesterday the number of plants waiting to be allocated a permanent home is rapidly shrinking .......it's been tough going this year and seems to have taken me ages but the end is in sight now.

                Have a good day.

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well ...

I have a man here putting a new facia board on the pine end of the house, a scaffold had to be erected for him to reach it (£440.00 just for that !)

I have an appointment with a chiropractor this afternoon, went to see him last week due to pain in my chest and back when breathing and he said the ribs had become detached from my spine (probably by lifting too many heavy things in the garden)
After some pushing and prodding it is much better and I can breathe properly, so if he can't do anything else I'm ok with it.

@Michael Hewett So sorry to hear this, it sounds painful and I hope you will get some relief with the Chiropractor.

No sign of the Builders yet. We are supposed to be a priority now! :yikes: T'other Half has been working on filling in the spaces between the windows and the roof. Don't ask me why this was not part of the roof project. His gunking gun has broken, the second one this morning (they were old as he doesn't do DIY often, thankfully), so he is now going into Algoz to get a new one from the hardware store (we have the old fashioned type) and check the post.

The sun is breaking some of the cloud up.

Oh no Vicky, don't they even bother to phone you! That not good business practice is it?

I've never heard of detachable ribs.....makes you scared to move. One of my real fears....until now that is ( think the ribs may have got the no.1 spot !) is getting a dislocated shoulder.....looks like torture when you see them popping it back in place on the hospital A&E programmes.

We've in the midst of our 2nd short but heavy downpour....the garden and I are so loving it. Hubs.....hmmm not so as he was just finishing cutting the lane side hedging.
