Good Morning everyone, how are you all.?

Gosh what a day of showers it was yesterday, very much needed though so no complaints here.

I don't think I'll get many ( if any) plants in the ground today as we're out for most of it. The weather looks fairly good and settled for the rest of the week so I have high hopes of finishing it by the weekend.:fingers crossed:

I really hope the builders turn up today for you Vicky.

Lori I am hoping you managed to get a better nights sleep.

Michael has your facia board been completed without any hitches?

Have a lovely day each and everyone.

Bom Dia4.jpeg Upsy and all who visit.

We had a lovely brief shower just past 7am which freshened things so I don't know if the builders come out in the damp! :rolleyespink: T'other Half has gone to move one car down the lane ... just in case! Also the :cat-kittyandsmiley::cat-kittyandsmiley: have gone out for a wander ... just in case!

Have a good and safe day.

          Good day
I'm glad you got some rain @Upsydaisy . Our skies are clear - not at all what was forecast. And the sidewalks are dry - were supposed to be soaked from hours of rain - according to the guessers. I don't know what happened that this storm system passed us by :noidea:

I had another horrible night. It was hot, humid and I had received an email at 8:30 last night advising me that another document needed to be done, served and uploaded to the courts. I have a hard time calming down and sleeping after getting these stress pressures. I'm beginning to think this lawyer is too busy for our needs and even though she offered to advise us for free, I am starting to feel we are getting our money's worth. Last minute advices are not good for serious matters like this.

@Victoria I hope your builders show up :fingers crossed:

I had a complete to do list for a rainy day but now? I'll read the news, have my cuppa and think about things for now!

          Cheers :coffee:

Lori, I do feel for you. Having spent most of my working life in law one way or another, 11 years criminal/personal injury in the US and contract/employment law for most of my 23 years in the UK, I know it can be stressful let alone if you are not familiar with it. You seem to be getting as much run around as I do with my buddies! My thoughts are with you.

No, they have not shown up here but have at our friend's farm and he is going to query for us. I cannot believe this builder has been in business for more than 25 years! Just on our project we have seen five different employees already! It beggars belief.

Thanks @Victoria for understanding. I have no problem with the forms but this lawyer used three different names for what needed to be filed and long after I had filed the document which she had approved, she then (last night) wanted a different form done with the same information. It costs every time I have to get a new affidavit of service notarized so I am getting frustrated with her.

I think she really doesn't have time for us and perhaps is regretting it. :noidea:

I hope you do get to the bottom of what is going on. I imagine you're now worried about these people should you need any follow up work performed.

It's going to be a nice day today, and I'm planning on going nowhere except into our garden.Tues was only short sessions due to all the showers and yesterday we were out ,today I hope will be an all day session.:fingers crossed::biggrin:

Vicky did you hear from the builder after John had a word yesterday? Hopefully you'll see them today.:fingers crossed:

Lori sorry to hear you're getting more work to do for the trial at such short notice, you deserve a holiday after it's over and done with.:blue thumb:

You both have a lot on your plate at the moment make sure you take some time out to switch off from all the mayhem and relax.

Hope the sun shines for everyone today.

Good morning all! What a lovely surprise, I’ve only just seen that I won the photo competition :dbgrtmb: can’t believe it!

Michael hope your recovering well, it sounds so painfull.

Lori sorry to hear your pain with paperwork and Lawyers, hang on in there :grphg:

Vicky, what is it with builders not communicating, it’s same in England too, think they take too much on unfortunately.

Upsydaisy how’s the planting going on ?

                    Hi @Flumpy ,well done.

As I'm hopeless at naming plants what was your plant called?

As I mentioned in my post I haven't really had much chance to finish the planting yet it hope too in the next few days :dbgrtmb:

                    Enjoy you day.

[IMG] Upsy, Flumpy. Lori and Michael

It is grey and still out there although the sun popped out for a brief spell.

I don't know what will happen today. If the builders show up will it be a full day? I just said to T'other Half he needs to speak to Ivo the owner of the company and find out what's going on ... or not as the case is. He has not spoken to him since he was here last week when he was one of the two erecting the roof!!! Ivo is a lovely chap, but .... I do not get involved.

Have a good day in the garden Upsy, :fingers crossed: Lori, feel better soon Michael and Flumpy don't let the people get you down.

Morning Upsydaisy, as we’ve only had this garden a year, I don’t know what the plants are called, but these plants didn’t flower last year, I know the white one is wisteria. Yes I wondered if you where able to get them all planted, not been able to read every post as work as been horrendous this week, but you don’t want to read about my moans and groans, have a lovely sunshiny day all :spinning:
