      Good day @Upsydaisy @Flumpy @Victoria @Michael Hewett
I had a good sleep last night because I believe I am done with the paperwork for this trial. Things cooled down tremendously and right now it it 49f 9c with only a few clouds in the sky.

:fingers crossed: for your contractors to show up @Victoria
:fingers crossed: for you to have a lovely stay at home day @Upsydaisy
:fingers crossed: for you to have work calm down and give you a break @Flumpy
:fingers crossed: for you @Michael Hewett to have a lovely day

Today is election day for our provincial leader. The polls open at 9 and I plant to be there at that time. Get it done and then do some quick errands and then I have plans to not leave my property for at least the rest of the day :)

      Cheers all :coffee:

          Good morning everyone :)

We have a lovely warm day ahead to look forward to.....before two days of dodgy weather arrives.

          Have a lovely day.

All of a sudden the sun keeps hiding. You will be as warm as us Upsy ... but not our warm nights!

Supposedly workers will arrive today! :dunno: ;) T'other Half has still not spoken to Bossman but I made it clear my views on the situation.

Enjoy your day one and all.

Good morning :spinning: all!, it’s raining here as you know until 11am then dry for the rest of the day

Vicky, glad to hear the workers are turning up but I really would have to say something about them not letting you know what’s going on  they would definitely get the frozen face from me :heehee:

Have a lovely day all :imphrt:

                Morning Vicky :)

                I know it's lovely.....wearing summer dresses at last!!:biggrin::hapydancsmil:

Warm nights don't bother me , I prefer being cool at night that's why our windows are always open!!

We sat outside yesterday evening until almost 10 pm it was lovely on the kitchen patio.

Oh Vicky this is awful......I'm on my way to sort them out and give them a piece of my mind.:wallbanging:

I’ve just read that people are moaning because some supermarkets have changed there opening times for the jubilee! Aren’t some public people selfish, they want you open 24/7, what a world we live in :rolleyespink:

At 9,30am no workers so I said to T'other Half to call. He phoned at 10am and was told they will be here in about an hour ... three have just arrived! I guess we can't complain as we have no contract and have not paid anything yet although money has been offered! We are talking about +/-9,000 Euros. T'other Half asked about window man and was told he would be chased so we stay open to the orchard and cannot put the furniture back in. They have unloaded materials and said they are now going to lunch and will be back at 1,30PM! And T'other Half is more annoyed because it doesn't give him time to go out for his Friday lunch .... grrrrrrr!!!!

                      Good day
It is sunny and 50f 9c which is a good start to the day. The guessers say we are going up to around 74f 25c ish and there's a chance of a sprinkle of water later in the afternoon.

I've been watching clips of Prince Louis on the balcony and it is amusing watching him "photo bomb" the Queen's jubilee!

@Victoria I sure hope they get a lot of work done today so you can start putting your life back together.

                      Have a lovely day all.

                      Cheers :coffee:

 T'other Half texted friend John as they often have Friday lunch together and he said Bossman was with him at the farm. Apparently Bossman phoned them as they were supposed to be here at 11am ... suddenly all three are working on the facia of the roof and chainsawing wood.

Well, they worked for an hour and have now gone to lunch. Poor Van got caught outside in his Tea Tent and has disappeared probably into the orchard. I feel like screaming and that is not of my nature. Sorry for the moan ... it does not go down well if I do it here!

@Victoria I really feel for you. I have a client who is experiencing ridiculous delays. For instance, her plumber showed up to install toilets. He was there an hour, installed two toilets and left the other three. Stupidity, unless they are charging extra for travel time and then they get paid more than once to drive to a job!

At least he left her with two toilets, hopefully functioning, unlike Upsy and I when we had the toilets removed and had to use porta-potties!

Thankfully Van made it into the house and was hiding under the bed. He has surfaced and gone back out as it is quiet out there! Munch came in when they arrived and is asleep on the printer.

This is what they did, the green bit on the first pic plus removing a window frame and rendering it (plus cut some wood beams).
