We have had them since 2009 Lori. This was when the door was installed ..
    Kitchen Patio 09.jpg
It is only installed on the top two sections which have Plexiglass that can be fitted with strong magnets for the winter as we keep the back door open during the day so the cats can to and fro. This is Van as a babe before we officially adopted him pleading to be let in ... :cat-kittyandsmiley:

    Excuse the mucky floor!

Enjoy your day whatever you do.

We now have the Builder's window man coming this afternoon to quote for The Baffa. I hope Denny, the guy here now, gets the job. :fingers crossed:

      Good morning everyone.

Yesterday was a similar day to Sunday with a nice day spent in the garden until it started to rain st 5:30. Thankfully only for long enough to water in the newly planted flowers, then we had full sunshine for sitting out in the evening.

Have a dental appointment to see the Hygienist this morning....another MOT job to cross off my list.:heehee:

      Have a great day.

        Flowers2.jpeg Morning.

A lovely start to the day here, sunny with a fresh breeze.

Builder's window man didn't show up yesterday ... surprise! We have screens on the bathroom windows now and Denny repaired the top two sections of the kitchen screen door and it looks good.

T'other Half is going off to the DIY this morning to get the bits he was going to get on Sunday so he can do a little more on The Baffa.

        Wishing all a pleasant day.

          Good day
It sounds like things are calming down for everyone.

I am excited but also very worried about going to court this morning. Yes, the court finally said, now, come here and let's get it on at 10 today. The other side's lawyer is suddenly saying he didn't receive an offer to settle although I have the email receipts for same so I think now they are starting to panic. Sounds good but I never trust anything any more since we've been disappointed so many times with new delays being manufactured.

It has been raining pretty much for the past 16 hours and is supposed to carry on for another 6-8 hours. Free water is always welcome although I see a couple of trays of seedlings are not draining properly so I'd best get those emptied before they little guys drown.

Have a lovely day, cheers :coffee:

              Good morning everyone.:)

Lori I kept everything crossed for your son and you yesterday, I am really hoping that it all went well for you both.

Wow it's mid week already !!! , I don't like how time seems to be flying by !!

Well I'm the proud owner of sparkling teeth now and £80 worse off!!

Going into town this morning, not our small local one but the larger one 7 miles away. We have to attend an appointment then we'll have a bit of a wander round, I also need to buy a few bits too. Probably won't get back until mid afternoon, so a non gardening is on the cards by the look of it.

I have to fit in a visit to my brother at some point too this week....gosh our time is not our own it seems lately.

Whatever you're up to have a lovely day , take care.

                Good day
It looks like the sun is going to beam at me today and it supposed to go up to the mid 70'sF 23-24C

We won! He no longer has to pay for that lazy 22 year old lout! On a sour note, she is still withholding the girls from seeing their dad so I'll have to start another court action. A contempt motion for disobeying a court order. A lawyer who has been helping advise us, pro bono, asked me if I wanted to work for her because she was impressed with what I was able to do. Nice compliment :)

A client came by with some fabric for further outdoor soft furnishings. And another is coming by today with fabric for a roman shade. Goodness, everyone wants me to work! It must be a sign :rolleyespink:

@Upsydaisy I go every three months to get my teeth done. They look great until a plunge back into my tea drinking and then I'm back to ivory, not white.

@Victoria you must feel like something is missing now that you don't have workman roulette happening anymore.

                Have a lovely day
                Cheers :coffee:

Congrat Cats.jpeg Lori. A wonderful job done with excellent results. :yay: Another feather in your cap. It is nice to be appreciated.

When we bought our last house in Buckinghamshire in 1984, I did the conveyancing. When the completion was over the Senior Law Partner asked me to stay back. He said he tried every way possible to catch me out 1) for doing it myself and 2) because I was a woman!!! Cheek! He asked me to come for an interview with the Manager, which I did. After the interview the Manager called Mr Benz in and he walked in the door and said "I don't need to speak to Mrs Beck, I know her competence. I received a call offering me a position ... which I refused as I thought they were too pompous! I found out later they were offering 25% over what the job paid, but that didn't matter to me.

Fear not, there will be more workers when the windows are installed! :rolleyespink:

                  Have a lovely profitable day.

                    Team Lori&Son!! :dbgrtmb:

Yes I normally go every 6 mths, but there is still a huge backlog of people waiting to be seen . This was the 1st Hygienist app I've had in two years and I did work extra hard ( always pay a lot of attention to polishing anyway ,as all tea and coffee is drunk black) but even she commented that there was surprisingly little work for her to do except for a tiny bit of staining behind a lower tooth that is crooked and hard to reach. So I was secretly very pleased with myself and awarded myself a :star:.:heehee:

I saw my Dentist two weeks ago and managed to secure ( hopefully )my next appointment Jan. I found out yesterday that her books are close now for a while and she can't take anymore appointments!! So many are waiting for treatment after having to wait so long to see their Dentist and some now have major follow up work needing to be done.

Morning one and all, hope you're all well today.

Off to visit my brother this morning and do a tiny grocery shop on the way back, hopefully this afternoon I'll get to plant out the remaining Dahlias.:fingers crossed:

                      Have a super day.

It is a lovely bright, sunny start here.

The builder's window man came yesterday. He called in the morning and said he would come at 2.30, then at 2.15 a woman (from the office/his wife?) called and said he was running a half hour late (shock) and he arrived at 3.00 lost down the lane so he called!!!

                        Wishing all a pleasant day.

                          Good day
@Upsydaisy it's got to be so much more pleasant going to see your brother, now that he is in a great accommodation. Not having to worry about what new may be going wrong has got to be a relief :)

@Victoria did the window man do anything or was he just assessing to assemble a quote?

I've sent a letter to the other side's lawyer advising him that we are aware of his urging contempt of the court order re: visitation. I'll give him 24 hours to respond before starting on the next set of docs.

It is cloudy but the rain has stopped. I have loads of errands to run today and will try to get them done by lunch time.

Have a lovely day, cheers :coffee:

Morning Lori, yes it truly is much nicer visiting him now....he virtually kicked us out at 12:15 ( 10 minutes before we really had to leave to catch our return bus) because he wanted to go and have his dinner in the restaurant ( served between 12 - 2pm) he likes to sit with the same group of people too! It's such a positive sign !!!! :) :dbgrtmb:
