    Good day
Thank you for pointing out the post from Moyra. I am so disappointed that her cataract surgeries didn't give her 20/20 vision. Things must have been pretty far advanced.

I got here late because I decided that I would make it a work day and start early as it was cloudy and miserable this morning. I made a bunch of piped, zippered cushions with a fun outdoor fabric for one client an did a small job for another. This was tomorrow's to do list but it is going to be sunny so no way was I waiting! Besides it's fun working and listening to my Corrie at the same time :)

I'm off to meet to some friends in about 1/2 an hour and it's always fun catching up on happenings.

Cheers all :coffee: and in awhile :Wino:

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend.

I was mostly on ladder duty yesterday ....keeping a close eye on my hubs who decided a couple of days ago that the outside of our house needed a bit of TLC ( it certainly did:blue thumb:) .Yesterday he was painting the upstairs windows , we decided we preferred to keep to wood frames when we put in the windows......he didn't mind climbing ladders and painting back then!!

The day before he cleaned and stained the dark wood doors and the patio doors too.

He's up the ladder again today applying the top coat of paint. It means that I can't get on with what I want to do, as I need to keep close by ....at the foot of the ladder!!:heehee:

Gosh I'm bag of jittering nerves, ladders are so scary!!

Hope you all have a good day, while I carry on with my nervous breakdown. :yikes:

Ola.gif I won't say good morning because it isn't. It is hot and sticky and they are spraying the orchards which is not pleasant smelling. Poor Van has run back in.

I don't envy you today either Upsy! I get the heebie jeebies when T'other Half goes up and down ladders ... carrying heavy things. He will have to do the solar panels soon!!!!!

Wishing all a safe and pleasant day.

It will be nice for your house to have some TLC @Upsydaisy and as long as husband is careful you'll be able to breathe a sigh of relief when he comes down from the ladder

That sounds rather unpleasant @Victoria ...

Thankfully this is not the norm. Also, we are not suffering as bad as France and Spain, possibly because we have the Atlantic on two sides of us.

              Good day
@Victoria spraying is not a pleasant thing to be near. Do they do it from the air or? The trails/woods near me were sprayed about 2 weeks ago and although they are far enough away that I couldn't smell anything, the noise of these big black helicopters was quite astonishing. Looked like one of those combat movies.

@Upsydaisy boy oh boy do I know that feeling. I am almost nauseous with worry when I see people up a ladder.

And that reminds me that things are looking a little sad around here too. I need to buy some door and trim paint and freshen some areas. Rainy day work for the inside stuff.

Have a lovely day and cheers :coffee:

Hi Lori. They do it by tractor going through the rows so come right up to the stone wall border.

Good morning everyone, how are you all today?

Vicky I hope with your AC on that you were able to get a good night's sleep in your high temps. It must be quite draining though I should imagine. Take care and keep cool, do you like iced tea?

Not sure what our plans are for today. Because I went out yesterday afternoon hubs couldn't ( for safety reasons ) use the ladder to finish the painting so that is one definite on our list. I would like to get a few bits of shopping too but it's not urgent. Apart from that it'll be another day enjoying our garden.:dbgrtmb:

Whatever you have planned enjoy your day!

It is a hazy muggy start to the day with 21c and no breeze.

Upsy, the a/c automatically goes on at 9pm for two hours to cool the room down. At 11pm (lights out) it goes off and windows open wide again for the night. Ceiling fan on all night. Ceiling is 4 meters low end/5 meters high end (above our heads. I couldn't cope with normal height ceilings. I have actually slept well for the last couple of days but haven't felt well.

No news on windows. T'other Half got necessary bits he needs to continue filling the gap between windows and roof. Did a but yesterday and will continue today ... that's up a ladder!!!

Have a good day one and all.

                      Good day
It is going to be another lovely day according to the guessers.

Like you, @Victoria , in the summer I like air moving at night. I have a ceiling fan in the bedroom too but only installed in a normal height ceiling. It's good enough for me.:noidea:

I have a client coming by this morning to drop something off and when she's left, I'm going to go out to play.

                      Cheers all :coffee:

                        Good morning !!

                        Vicky how are you today?

Another lovely day here to chill out in the garden.

I spied some more Blueberries ready for picking yesterday , think I might go and pick them to go on my breakfast. Yum!!

No real real plans apart from a spot of ladder duty again, hopefully hubs will get the top coat of paint on today.

                        Enjoy you day.

It is a strange start to the day with the weather after our surprise shower last night and conflicting info on three weather sites today.

I am fine Upsy. I had a good day yesterday and sleep last night but have been awake since 5.45am!!!

T'other Half is getting ready to go to the doctor for bloods and about his back, the latter will just be a referral to a Consultant. He made today's appointment on Monday.

                          Have a good day everyone.

Ha,ha, me? The doc is at the coast, Albufeira. So give 20-30 minutes at docs then 30 minutes or so home, he'll be back 10ish. I won't do the cycling till he's back as I am dodgy getting off. :heehee: I'll just watch the Euro news ... then the crime or nature programme.

T'other Half had 30 minute consultation with new doctor at Clinic. Completely went over history, felt all down his spine, made copious notes on computer and suggested MRI. Phoned himself but could not get answer so left Receptionist to follow up. Wrote note to Radiology Associates where MRIs performed (I have had one there). Took bloods. Consultation 30 Euros! Tomorrow is Legal Holiday here so MAY be on Friday.
