Hello, how are you all this morning?

Weatherwise it's a boring shade of grey today with occasional glimpses of sunshine.

You may be able to guess what I'm up to today........yes ladder watching!! Hopefully not for too long ,just a quick dollop of top coat and that bit is done. Next is tackling the dorma windows.......even more precarious!!!

I'll have a bit of time off for good behaviour while he plans how to get up on that section of roof !

Good morning Upsydaisy, to my surprise I’ve just woke to sunshine and blue sky, we only had one shower last night and that wasn’t for long, may pay a visit to the garden centre as I’m on my own today, hubbies back at work today. Upsydaisy hope your doing the planning and your hubbies doing the climbing ?

Goodness me absolutely no way!!! Me !! Hubs is very thorough and both practical and logically thinking. When he did our building work he was always up on the roof.

I wouldn't trust my own safety planning and I certainly would risk someone elses life with it!!

Morning Upsy, Flumpy and Lori and Michael and ...

The sun has found us again but keeps hiding occasionally.

T'other Half will be joining your Hubby Upsy in the ladder department!!! He got the trellis yesterday so plans to install it above the windows ... but that is not as high as up on the roof! I just want to sow some Nepeta Mussinii seed in a pot.

 

Afternoon Vicky.... You have my heart felt sympathy in the ladder department!!

So far hubs has been busy on other things . After lunch I will attempt to hobble ( I cut the sole of my foot the other day...don't know how) to a local shop ( 2 miles) with him to pick up a few salad bits that we're running low on. Always avoid weekend shopping trips.

It is a lovely sunny day and the the guessers say it is going up to 90f 29c this afternoon so not as nasty as the other day. And it is not humid so far which will be lovely.

I've got some work to do. Some pillows for outdoor furniture. I have procrastinated a little so I best get on with it. Work in the morning, play outside in the afternoon!

oh, and @Upsydaisy take good care of that foot - you sure don't want an infection on your sand slappers!

Good morning everyone.......the weekend is here!!

Had a great afternoon yesterday ,after a spot of shopping, we went to see my niece and great nephew. Such cheeky, cheerful little chap he makes us laugh non- stop !!!

No plans as such for today as the weather is a bit questionable today...so we'll do whatever the weather permits.

Morning @Flumpy ...you're brave shopping on a Saturday!! We always try our utmost to avoid it, always have done even when the brood were young and we both were working fulltime.
Mind you I absolutely detest any kind of shopping!

Hi Upsydaisy, I normally pick my mum up Saturday morning so she can use our exercise equipment, but this week she wasn’t coming, so while my hubby was at work I got up early and did the shopping, there was hardly anyone there thankfully
