Good morning.....gosh where did that weekend go !!

Dodgy weather this morning so I will probably give the house a bit of attention instead of the garden.
Not that I have much to do out there ...I feel a tad redundant now. Apart from a bit of deadheading and weeding ( although not much of that either now the borders are filling out) there's not much else to do . I shall have to start hunting out a few jobs ...small ones.

It is very breezy out there but sunny. Not sure how pleasant it will be pottering out there.

I think T'other Half is shopping this morning and may get the wall cladding. We also want two more outside chairs.

We've just had a heavy dollop of rain , didn't really leave much of an impression on the ground but certainly topped up the water butts..it's stopped now though. Hope that's not our ration for today.

That's one thing I don't particularly like working in either....wind,hate it. Gives me a headache .

I have finished another lot of knitting I will post it on..?? oh whichever thread...I'll hunt it down now.

It is lovely and sunny and only 60f 14c which is a nice cool off from the last few days.

I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do today. I'm supposed to be working but I'm really not in the mood for some reason. Think I'll putter around outside instead. Being cooler, I'll get lots more fresh air than darting in and out of last week's blast furnace.

Good morning everyone, how are you all doing?

Well the garden had some fairly good doses of rain yesterday, just how far it absorbed into the soil has yet to be seen.

I have a friend coming over today for a catch up, she's a keen gardener too so lots to talk about.

I enjoyed a nice flying visit to the Algarve last night Vicky , called into Tavira, Sao Bras de Alportel, Olhao and Moncarapacho.... Lovely but very tiring!!

It is a bright and very breezy start to the day here and will continue the same.

Upsy, we have some long time friends from the UK staying at the Health Spa in Olhau at the moment. They have asked us to visit but not sure with our (non)schedule this week. It is about an hour and 15 minute drive East of us.

T'other Half may get the wall cladding today and will contact Builder and Window Man.

Morning Vicky , all the properties were a mix of doer uppers and move straight ins. The areas looked nice ,one in particular ( can't remember which) had a a fabulous beach. They went to the town of Tavira but the property there was in the mountain area.
Love ending my day on such a lovely note...it gives me sweet dreams in the sun!!

It is sunny again and 54f 11c. The guessers say it will warm up to a pleasant 82f 25c. Thoroughly wonderful.

I've got the boiler iron up to pressure and ready to start on a couple of large roman shades and then late this morning I have a sales appointment with a new client. And after that, on the way home, some shopping to do. I'll probably still have an hour or two after that to spend outside and before the sprinkler system cycles.

@Victoria it sounds like your steadily working to getting your baffa completed. Good one! @Upsydaisy I'm still trying to figure out what I read in your post but I'll assume it was a great adventure.

Vicky knows that I love watching the tv programme called ' A Place In The Sun' where people who are looking at either selling up and moving abroad or for a holiday home are helped to find their ideal place. Last night they were in the Algarve region

Actually, we are only 2-1/2 to 3 hours plane journey (from Southern airports) away and are in the same Time Zone. Having said that ... we are world's away!
