    Good Morning Birdie.jpeg
Morning Upsy ... have a lovely relaxing day.

Nothing planned here that I know of although the little Myrtle hedge needs a trim (about 30cn/12 inches) as it is blocking light/sun to other plants. It has been mentioned several times now, a ten minute job. I can't reach it.

Morning Vicky......men!! They say women nag but we don't..we just have to repeat saying things until it registers with them..!!!!!!

I hope you're feeling a bit better today, ideally completely better....but I know the heat can make things hang around.

Hang a note from the hedge...I'm hot and in need of a hair cut!!
Then retreat into a shady corner and ..relax.

Thanks ,yes very much looking forward to my day.
Another friend Whatsapped me yesterday so we're meeting up later this week too. So a bit of a social week is on the cards.:)

Oh, you little social butterfly Upsy. I am not fond of Elvis but hope you enjoy the film,

He sits directly looking at it and it is blocking HIS Pumbago from light so it will eventually get done. It is just unsightly, but there we go.

I will practise balancing today, bending over and sideways movements. :rolleyespink:

          Good day
Here I am already 5 hours behind all the goings on over there!

Friends and a show sound fun @Upsydaisy and I've heard that balance exercises are supposed to be one of the best for physio @Victoria. I haven't done much of anything yet. Just sawed some boarding to make the headings for these roman shades and painted the ends to finish them. And let them dry while I sit and read the news :)

It is trying to rain out there so nothing will be happening outside which makes it a perfect day to get my work done and then putter around inside.

          Cheers :coffee:

Ah, but you can continue for five hours longer.
Wishing you a happy day puttering.

Morning everyone, how are you all today?

Had a great day yesterday....loved the film ,it certainly pulled on the heart strings.

I didn't get round to watering the pots last night so that's the first job of the day in a minute. Also have to pop over to my sister's at some point too.

Inbetween I'll do the daily round of deadheading, feed the Lemon Tree, Blackberries, GrapeVine, Blueberries, Strawberries and Tomatoes.

Oh.. and I must remember to check the Giant Lillies for pesky Lilly Beetles.

              Have a super day!

It is bright, sunny and breezy out there today.

T'other Half will continue preparing the wall for the rendering. I think they are picking oranges today as there is the clunk/clunk/clunk sound pf oranges landing in buckets. That will keep Van on his home ground today!

Snuggle down with Van and have a lovely day Vicky.

Is the air full of a citrusy aroma?

Actually no Upsy. It is April/May when there is the strong blossom scent. However, these orange trees bloom, fruit and ripen all year ... all at the same time!

Can't find a pic offhand with flowers, green and orange fruit.

We three are sensibly in, T'other Half has gone to the Drogaria (old fashioned hardware store) to get a sanding bit for the drill to continue with the walls for the cladding and cola (tile cement) to attach the cladding bricks. He spent too much time out yesterday, two hours, quick sandwich, two hours, one hour snooze. Then he was unwell in the night so I have told him less hours and wear a hat today! Men!!!

I went out a while ago to tend to my seedlings but was back in within 20 minutes ... it is 24c and no breeze! It is stupid doing seeding here after May, guess who is stupid?

I have an appointment with a Neurologist on 4 August.

                          Good day
It is still a bit cloudy and the guessers say we might get another sprinkle of water which is just fine with me. Free water is always welcome.

A friend of mine said he enjoyed the Elvis movie @Upsydaisy and I'm glad you enjoyed it too!

@Flumpy I used to like camping and actually did it several times throughout the summers when I was younger. My sons enjoyed being free to run and play all day in the parks.

@Victoria are those oranges the ones that are used for marmalade? Love marmalade! :dbgrtmb:

There's a new "old" series coming up on one of my stations called Doctor Blake Mysteries - it starts tomorrow morning. I realize that it is not filmed in England but have any of you seen this series? Sounds like it might be fun.

And I too have lots of dead heading to do and a bit of reorganizing inside the greenhouses. I'm always shuffling things around :noidea:

                          Cheers :coffee:

No, they are Seville. These are super sweet for juice or eating.

I have not heard of Doctor Blake Mysteries but worth a viewing me'thinks.

                              Morning Lori.

Thanks yes, it was very good and the music was brilliant. I know your lifestyle is predominantly your decision but certainly a few others had a big say in his too......and not always to his advantage either.

Yes the programme is aired over here too, but I haven't watched it.

                              Happy shuffling !!

We're in for another lovely day today, and next week is going to be even better !

Today I'm meeting up with a friend for lunch, really looking forward to seeing her.

Have a lovely day yourselves. :)
