    Goodd Morning Tabby.jpeg

    Enjoy your lunch Upsy.

T'other Half will continue with the wall cladding and I want to transfer a Salvia from out front to a Courtyard pot and tidy up a few pots. It is going to be a warm one so not too much activity.

    Have a relaxing day everyone.

      Good day
I've been reading the news and was saddened to see that your guy is getting ousted over a couple of beer parties. Stupid he did that but nothing as nasty as what our prime minister has gotten away with. Our guy has broken criminal laws not just lockdown rules.

I've got the van loaded and will be going to my client's place to install her roman shades. I'm on pins and needles as to whether the drapery rod supplier will have the rods to me by tomorrow night or not but I'm going to make sure everything else (ladders/tools) is there and ready to put them up when they come. The family will be back from England on Monday. So fingers crossed.

Then I'm going to stop in shops on my way back to do my grocery shopping and grabbing sales items.

      Cheers all :coffee:

I'm sure many on this forum will not agree, but IMO Boris has done a good job, getting the UK through Brexit and Covid.

Yes he's made mistakes and told a few porkies, but ha, we all do.

Hi All, looks like the weather is going to be nice this weekend woohoo :)

Yes Boris as resigned but don’t you worry, they get paid handsomely which will last the rest of his life, as for Covid, we are still learning to live with it, and now the levels are rising

Vicky I can smell them oranges from here, I love orange juice mmmm :)

Lori, the only time I went camping was when I was in the girl guides and it rained buckets but we had one night where we sang around the campfire with marshmallows and melted chocolate :)

Hi Upsydaisy hope your ok and taking things in your stride :spinning:

Hello everyone, hope you're all well.

I agree with you @john558 Boris had a lot to deal with during his short-lived time as PM and on the whole he did it well.

For me the money side of it wouldn't be worth the worry and stress that the job comes with...I think whoever takes on the job should be awarded a medal!!

Yes he will be pensioned off very nicely....but it's well deserved.
Mistakes were made but what's happened has happened and we should move on. I could hold a grudge with regards to lockdown rules not being obeyed...I abided by them and missed the final month of my Dadi life.....but nothing can change that outcome. The money wasted on the investigation and legal fees could have gone elsewhere to where it could've make a difference .

              Hey ho moan over with.

I'm off to do some grocery shopping before attending a hospital appointment later this morning, so I'd better get a wiggle on.

              Have a good day.

Hope the appointment goes well Upsy., guess this is the May appointment? You have done exceptionally so I am sure all is fine. I will catch up later.

T'other Half is going to work on the tile cladding for a bit then is meeting our friend for lunch. I do not enjoy going out in this heat (the river being an axception).

Hi Lori, Flumpy and Michael ... hope ya'll have a good day.

                  Morning Vicky ,

Hope all is OK with you both. The cladding is looking marvellous....he's doing a grand job...and in the heat too!!

Yes it is, hopefully I'll get discharged. :fingers crossed: I think I have to accept this bit of pain/ discomfort that remains as a case of 'this is as good as it gets '.
I done a fair bit this week...walking here and there and with the heat as well my knee has been complaining ...but it's better than this time last year and that's the main thing.:dbgrtmb:

His secretary phoned me late on Tuesday and apologised for the delay and offer today's appointment.

Have a lovely day and keep cool.xx

Not necessarily true. I had a "tight band" around my knee for over three years and all of a sudden one day it was gone. I am noticing the heat bothers my knee (not pain, more like feels fat) but no problems with my hip at all, never have had and that's with three replacements.

                      I'm glad for you. :)

I was warned I would be left with a section of bone on bone though. So long as I remember to pace myself I'm happy really as I can now get out more ,but best to limit the trips on warm days I think.:dbgrtmb:

                        Good day
Sounds like everyone is having a productive and pleasant day.

Not much new here. There are some clouds in the sky but being fairly warm, still good enough to hang out some clothes and get a jump on the weekend's work. I probably won't be here much of tomorrow so every chore done ahead of time will be needed.

                        Cheers all :coffee:

                          Good morning all.

There's a lot turmoil and gloom in the news so I have a bit of good news..... my 'once was' dodgy knee has been discharged after it was examined and deemed fit for purpose at the hospital yesterday!! :yahoo::hapydancsmil:.

Just have to continue giving it plenty of TLC and keep it moving.:dbgrtmb:

Not suppose to be as hot today ( thankfully) but still a tad too warm for me. There's no pleasing some!! :roflol:

Having a chill out day today.....ice lollies in the freezer and some lager chilling in the fridge.:dbgrtmb::beer:

Have a super duper day, take care in the sun ...and no impersonations of an egg in a frying pan :nonofinger:

Morning all, lovely sunshiny morning with a cool wind, it’s not got overly warm yet but wait until late next week temperatures are going up! :rolleyespink:

My parents are coming round this am, my dad will probably potter round my garden, giving advice where needed ;).
Maybe go for a walk later when hubby is home from work…..if he’s not to tired.

Upsydaisy so glad you knee is on the mend now, sounds like you’ve got your relaxing day all planned enjoy the drinks later :spinning:
