Good morning Upsydaisy, Vicky and all who are just rising like me,I slept real well last night! And woke to wall to wall blue sky, unfortunately I’m in the hairdressers at 1pm as I couldn’t get any other appointment but I’m sure I will get time to potter around the garden afterwards, hope you all have a nice relaxing day and don’t forget your sun lotion. It is sunny and going to be another lovely day. It will be a Hilda morning with Corrie to keep me company.

I plan to get things tidied as well, perhaps some laundry, and a bit of baking. Just puttering

Not up to much today....just going to do whatever is comfortable in the heat.

Apparently my brother is still testing positive, so not sure when we'll get to see him.

You look like a movie star. I like it when my hair was long but re-invented myself a couple of years ago and like i short now.



Another warm one on the cards and the Window Man should be here any moment. T'other Half thinks it should take just half a day ... but I'm not sure of that. I will report back later.

My friend from here is in the UK with her daughter and they both have Covid, as does her father.

Ta'dah, a vehicle has arrived with workers! Hurray!

Just heard from the place where my brother is and after 10 days he's still testing positive with a strong indicator line!!! I'm so baffled as to how he caught it....he's been very poorly and had been refusing food too.
We knew he was a high risk as his immunity levels are very low and we had successfully kept him clear by all family members being very vigilant over their own personal protection. He's been taken to have all 4 Covid jabs...so everyone has acted with great care and responsibility.. He's now been in his new place with a care plan for almost 7 weeks....and this has happened!!! And he was the 1st to test positive.......apparently.

How bewildering that R is still testing positive ... and how he got it in the first place! I do hope he picks up soon and starts eating. I will keep everything crossed for his recovery.

Good news here ... they finished in and hour and a half! Looks brilliant and I'll put photos up in Algarve Garden. T'other Half has contacted a/c man to get us in the diary. He has gone off to Aldi then we'll have a bite of lunch (cottage cheese and fruit for me) and I imagine he'll putter around The Baffa maybe doing a bit more cladding ... but I hope not much in this heat.

It is another nice day out there although being early it is still a bit chilly. Doesn't matter. I'm inside with my cuppa.

I've got a couple of things on my to do list which will be fun. Putting in a new trunk line for my low flow irrigation and a few other puttering jobs.

And I've almost finished tweeking the draft order for Thursday's court date. My son hasn't heard a peep from the other side and I'm guessing it's because her lawyer dumped her. He even told us that!

Now to read the news and then get a wriggle on.

Like you I've had my long hair days too but find short is easier to manage in my old age, although I have been tempted to grow it again but only get so far and find it too time consuming. Wash, shake and go is my preferred hair care routine now.
