      Good day
It is 58f 13c and the sun is lovely. The guessers say it will only be going up to about 78f 25c? which is just fine with me.

@Upsydaisy fingers crossed your brother keeps improving and you get to see him soon. :fingers crossed:

My son and I attend court this morning to try to get the visitation part of a court order enforced. His ex has only let him see his daughters 4 times this year and none at all in 2020 and 2021. He has missed 3 father's days with them. Hopefully the court will tell her to do as they ordered her to do in 2016 and 2018. Let him see his daughters regularly. They love to visit!

And hopefully I'll still have the afternoon to putter around in the back yard. Lots of dead heading needs doing!

      Cheers :coffee:

Good morning everyone, how are you all?

Some fab news, my brother has finally tested negative!!! He was allowed to go to the restaurant to join his friends for lunch yesterday. He's still got a bit of a way to go in his recovery but he's on the right track at last.:hapydancsmil:

Slight change of plan yesterday, we did the grocery shop in the afternoon instead of today. So today is cinema this morning and washing the downstairs floors this afternoon ...then our eldest baby and his girlfriend arrive this evening.....so looking forward to our weekend together. :Wino:

        Have a lovely day everybody.

... and a good one it is with Upsy's news about her brother's progress. :yay:

Today T'other Half goes to our friends farm to get some of our belongings, small items, as our friend has to borrow the builders truck to bring the furniture back but more work has to be done in The Baffa beforehand such as a/c installation and tiling.

Other than that, just a normal day here.

                  Good day
Well, that is really great news @Upsydaisy ! Now your brother is back on track to enjoying his new place and friends.

It is sunny again and I decided to manually put the big sprinkler system on for one round of a good watering to give the grass a drink. Still can't find one head but now I know the general area that I need to dig as I can see a bit of water oozing up in a spot that would be right in line with the rest of the heads. Luckily sprinkler systems are simple to fix. It's hard work but a zombie can do it.

And that's me at the moment. Think I'll take a sip of my first cuppa of the day. Cheers :coffee:

Morning Lori and thank you, yes he needs a strong routine to his days and thankfully they can now be re-established .
I hope you get the sprinkler system sorted.

                      Have a lovely day.

@Upsydaisy I didn't go to the cinema this morning. Well, ours aren't even open until lunchtime. But I too did the laundry and it's already dried on the line and back in, folded, hung up and back in place. :)

My son will be bringing two granddaughters around for the first time in ages (yes, she got told and we're going back in Sept to report if she continues obeying the court order) and I don't want to be doing laundry instead of sitting and visiting ;)

That's good @CanadianLori it is so sad when children and parents/grandparents are prevented from seeing each other. They have a bad mother.

Lori I put ours out at 2:50pm and like yours it was folded and put away by 4pm.....including the towels:hotsun:

I have 7 strappy sun dresses( same style but different colours..for every day of the week ) , 5 were in the wash and they were dry in 30 minutes..amazing. I do however have an additional super spin cycle on my washing machine too.

That's brilliant , I'm really happy for you all have a super time with your granddaughters.:hapydancsmil::yahoo:

Thank you @Michael Hewett and @Upsydaisy it's been a long battle to get her to follow the court order from 2016. I'm guessing the threat of jail time may have had something to do with her u turn!

I haven't owned a sun dress in years. Okay, I lie, I have one of my mother's which has got to be 30 years old and is still in pristine condition because I've never worn it. And never had the heart to throw it out. She was always so happy puttering about in it on nice sunny days. :)

The sprinkler system comes on in an hour and I'll see if today's repairs were successful :fingers crossed:
