    Good day,
It is warm 34f 1c and the guessers have told us to watch out for freezing rain coming along.

@Upsydaisy it is weird to see you're colder over there than here today. :rolleyespink: @Victoria I'm glad you got through the bureaucratic nonsense and have that stress behind you now :blue thumb:

I've got to get out the door in a minute to take grandson, Evan, to work. He had an oops in his car and the front bumper is getting repaired today. After that, I am meeting my friend for brekkie and then going to a sewing supply shop to buy some more woolly nylon thread. I have lots, just not the right colours! Then later I go back and pick up Evan. I'm not used to being out the door in the dark in the morning anymore. Oh well, it is just one time :phew:

    Cheers :coffee:

No unfortunately it was just a facebook pic that captured my attention.

I found this youtube link for something similar - there are lots of sites if you look for 3d crochet blanket

Good morning to each and everyone, hope you are all feeling well today.

Not quite so cold last night, only dipping to -5C but more importantly .....no rain!:hapydancsmil:. Cold, dry, sunny and calm makes for a perfect Winters day imo.:SUNsmile:

Enjoyed a nice walk yesterday, all told just under 4 miles, it was so good to stretch our legs.
I might attempt to get out in the garden today it will depend on how wet the lawn areas are as the borders that run along the lawns are where I need to work on now.

        So:fingers crossed:

        Enjoy your day.

          Well done yesterday Upsy.
Sorry to hear of the Family's medical issues Lori. I read about the Anemia. Are they covered by a Health System?
          Stay warm and safe everyone.

@upsy @ Flumpy. I really have no energy these past few days. What is this tonic you have referred to in the past please?

Do your Googling Vicky as some people can experience unpleasant side effects. As it's not expensive you could always just give it a go for a week or two maybe and see if it helps.

Not sure you can get that here and I already take a multivitamin plus Iron and B12 and Omega3 Flaxseed (can't do the fishy one )in the morning. Think I need to exercise more.

No I can't do the fishy one either. Yuk!

Yes I think ( unfortunately, if not in the mood ) that exercise must never be underrated for all it's benefits......mood enhancing is definitely the big one here during Winter.

I think I mentioned that my legs, hips and now my knee that I surgery on have really been playing me up for the last couple of weeks , and it has depressed me a lot. Yesterday as we had sunshine instead of rain I suggested that we go for a long ,slow paced walk, and although not 100% in the mood for it..... it was lovely and certainly boosted our spirits.

As we need a bit of shopping today we have decided to walk into town, do it, and bus back home.

Unfortunately I am still achy and had yet another awful night where I decided to get up around 3am
but hopefully I will feel the benefits soon.:fingers crossed:

But getting back into an exercise routine is extremely hard when you're just not feeling up to it.

Start of doing a few gentle ones ...slowly and don't overdo it.:grphg: xx

                        Good day
It is warm again. 39f 3c and of course, cloudy. Again.

I think this lack of sunshine is getting everyone a bit weary. It might have something to do with waking up a silly o'clock (3a.m.) and not being able to go back to sleep.

I too have just started doing a few exercises again as I started to feel like a big old blob!

I looked up the Metatone and also followed you link @Upsydaisy and can't find a Canadian source other than ordering through amazon. None of our pharmacies sell it.

I went to the sewing supply place yesterday and was really shocked at how much they jacked up the price of things. $8.99 or $9.99 for a spool which last year cost $3.99. Needless to say, I only bought two where I had originally had a list of 5 different colours that I wanted.

Today I'm just making a quick run to Costco for a couple of necessities. And I have lots of chores I should tackle. We'll see...

                        Cheers :coffee:

                          Morning Lori.:)

My sister and I were talking yesterday about how we would like to do some dressmaking again, it's the only affordable way to have unique clothing. Unfortunately we don't have any fabric supplies nearby anymore they've gradually all closed down over recent years.

Prices are rocketing up in all areas now, when will it end.:dunno:

                          Have an enjoyable day.

                            Good morning.

                            Another nice day ahead .

There's still is a lot of surface water around that remains frozen over , so still have to be wary when out and about.

Off to visit my brother this morning, the bus should hopefully leave just after 9 and we should get back home around 1:30.:fingers crossed:

Plan then is to do the laundry so it's ready to hang out first thing Friday morning.

Hope you all have a lovely day.
