J has gone off now. No, I won't go to Physio with him. Not particularly a nice journey ... four lane carriageway most of the way, top and tailed village. Once there I would have to sit in waiting room through session as I cannot get about on my own with a walker (ie doors/elevators/etc) ... and I am not one to sit in the Restaurant! And I don't use the phone when out nor sit reading. I am more at ease here at home.
Not sure what this means.

You have a good one too whatever you do. Vxx

      Good day
It is 50f and the skies don't have any white bits at all.

Emily just left for school. She catches the bus at the corner which is only 6 houses away and it drops her off right at school. I do drive her to school if it is pouring. Her first class is phys ed so she gets her exercise everyday, bus or not! So I'll be thinking of the yawn yawn crowd exercising at the same time :)

The guessers say it will go up to 70f and remain sunny so I am going to hop to and make it a day getting something, anything, done outside. I am terribly behind on everything but have been nipping away at projects one by one to catch up.

Here is one I just finished last night. Finally got those chairs done.

        Morning Lori.
My, you have been a Busy Bee. Looks grand with the elephants. :dbgrtmb: :star:

We are threatened with rain, but we are always being taunted. Maybe, just maybe, this rime ...:fingers crossed:

        Have a good day.

Vicky I was referring to myself... sticking up the poster, doing them all twice a day, walking a minimum of 2 miles each day and doing sessions on my static bike.... is it all talk..:dunno: ...I hope not, but....damp weather and very achy joints don't really motivated you.....but fighting talk and optimism are all I can definitely offer at this stage.:heehee: The mind is willing but is the body..that'll be the big question.

Thank you @Victoria. I loved that fabric as soon as I clapped eyes on it.

@Upsydaisy you do a lot more walking than I do. I try to motivate myself to keep my joints active by repeating, "Motion is Lotion!!!".

                  Good morning everyone.:)

Did you get your rain Vicky?

Well 2 out of 4 isn't bad for starters......slowly warming up to the full 4 .;)
I did the entire exercise routine in the morning, and walked just under 3.5 miles yesterday. On the plus side I was working out in the garden from 10-1pm too.
We didn't leave for our afternoon out until 2:30 and got back home at 6:45pm. So all in all we kept on the move.

Today we're walking to our nearest surgery ( our Dr's have 2) which is just over 2 miles away as I have to have some bloods taken. We will then travel on into Southampton for lunch and a wander.

Once again I'll only to do one session of exercises today. I think my poor body will go into shock if I do 2 at this early stage !!!!:roflol:

We're making the most of today's lovely weather because after today it's looking pretty grim until next Friday!!!!! The garden will be very happy though.:rain:

                  :hapflowers2:

                  Have a fabulous Friday.

                      Good day
It is 50f and again, the skies are clear. This is good because by noon, the sun rays will strike the back deck and make it quite pleasant for starting to empty the hanging pots.

@Upsydaisy I play "lazy" scrabble. I did this when Sam was here too. I leave the board on a surface out of the way of busy areas and when one player finishes their turn and replenishes their letters, they put the bag of letters on the other person's side so that it indicates it's their turn to figure out a word. A game can take a couple of days because we just take our turn whenever the mood strikes or we happen to notice it's our turn. A very relaxing way of playing. No pressure to come up with a word in a hurry.

@Victoria I hope the car business gets sorted without a hassle.

                      Hello to @Michael Hewett and @Flumpy and @john558 :)

I have a lot of items on my to do list again so I best get in gear here!

                      Cheers :coffee:

All went smoothly. As J was leaving the Lawyer's he bumped into our Insurance lady and in typical Portuguese custom they hugged and she said she had added the Peugeot to our car policy and as soon as J sells the Kia she will remove it. All easy peasy here.

Good morning  it's the weekend!!!

Good news Vicky, everything is going smoothly with both J and the car.:dbgrtmb:

What a super way to play Scrabble Lori. Great idea, might have to borrow it.:heehee:

Had a lovely day yesterday.....best bit was that my veins were compliant and readily filled two vials for the Phlebotomist . I normally come out impersonating a pin cushion .:heehee:

Had a nice wander through the market in town before going for some lunch. During lunch son no 3 phoned to inform us that he had been notified by our home security surveillance team that our smoke alarms had been triggered. I hadn't heard my phone at the time of their call to me as we had been in a particularly noisy environment..the market place and with a street musician playing some beautiful guitar music. I quickly scrolled through all our internal and external cameras to find ,and as we had suspected, a false alarm!! We disarmed it via my phone:phew: The culprit alarm has been playing up of late so once home we replaced it with a new one.:blue thumb:

Today is a bonus nice day as the rain that was forecast has disappeared!!!! So we are heading off early to Salisbury as we loved their market when we went a fortnight ago and apparently it's even bigger on a Saturday!! Their Farmers Market stalls have fab produce. :)

Have a really great day yourselves.

Hooray, we are at long, long last having some rain!

Pleased the blood tests went well Upsy. I have no problems with them ... but when I was in hospital al my veins collapsed in my arm so they couldn't give me the IV any more so put me on tablets ... a blessing for me as I could go home.

Obviously a quiet day ahead for us just watching the rain with glee, and probably the furries too ...

Morning Vicky....you have :rain: at last!!:hapydancsmil:.

Unfortunately I 've always had vein issues, my older sister does too and occasionally our eldest son use to as well, not sure if he has in recent years.
They struggle to even get the cannula in before I have surgeries too!

Think today's plans might have to be cancelled as I forgot the reduced bus times at weekends. Shame really at the weather is on the turn from tomorrow.

                              Never mind..

                              Enjoy your rain.xx

Ok...quick bit of research...and we off into town and fortunately the buses to Salisbury and Lymington depart from the same stop....so whichever comes along first we're hopping on. Too beautiful a day not to take advantage of.

                                Enjoy your day. :biggrin::SUNsmile:
