          Good day
It is 47f and the high today will be 52f according to the guessers. And it is very grey and cloudy. I have now turned the central heating on as it is only 64f in the house and that is not acceptable. When Mother Nature turns the heat off, I turn mine on!

I've got bread dough rising and lots of other things to get done. All are fairly pleasant tasks. Certainly nothing strenuous like what's going at your home @Michael Hewett. As @Upsydaisy says, I hope it goes smoothly and you get the results you want.

I hope you shove that virus out of your system @Victoria and thanks to the information @Flumpy provided, I now know expected timelines should I ever get it.

          Cheers :coffee:

            Sunday morning . Chilly 48 degrees, 8:30AM.
Did some cleaning yesterday, more today, some tidy and tossing I hope.

Husband is on a mission to frame up some stuff for an upcoming auction.
I was checking on ebay yesterday on some items to find out what they sell for, maybe post a few there soon. We have also donated some items to historical museums, getting a nice letter from them to have as a charity deduction with taxes. Yes, we have too much stuff.

Are you taking some zinc? @Victoria , and Vit. C ? that combo helps me to keep virus at bay.
I am also a firm believer to keep my hands away from my face. Have not had a sniffle in about 6 years. And you know we roam about in large crowds often.

Well, off to do something. Have a grand day all.

They've finished for today now, the walls are primed and plastered with a coating of something they called 'compo'. I think it's a cement mixture.

It's nice not to see those concrete bricks any more.
They'll be back tomorrow to do the pebble-dashing.
They keep calling me "Buddy" :frown:

Enjoy your pleasant tasks @CanadianLori. My mother used to make nice bread. I'm hoping to try some this winter.

              Hope you're feeling better @Victoria.

              Hi to everyone

A lazy day here. J having a snooze ... he is always tired. Sat out this morning and will again from about 5-7pm before dinner, meatloaf. It is aa bit warm at 31.6c now with a warm breeze so not terribly confortable.

This is the Vitamin Mineral tablet I take daily, plus extra B12 tablet and get direct D3 from outside plus I have Orange Juice daily..

That is a full list. Truly, I don't take all that ever have I , nothing against it either. I do take D3 also, and some herbs for my arthritis. Hate pills--to be honest, so the less I can take the better. Some times I do a NO pills days. I am not on any doctor prescribed meds. So my herbs and any vitamins are totally by my own selection process. Reminds me, have not taken any yet today, now almost Noon, LOL.
                  Have a good one.

Hi Redstar. We have a dreadful diet as J will not eat fruit or vegetables, loves just pasta or anything carbs. We don't even eat much meat, just chicken and no fresh fish. Eating has been a nightmare for me for 55 years. I am on statins because of my TIAs and J is on tablets for D2 and Prostrate.
                    Enjoy your Sunday.

                      Good morning everyone.

Fingers are now aching as they've been crossed for so long......but I'm chanting 'negative, negative, negative' for you Vicky.:):fingers crossed:

Oh I just love my veg and fruit and could happily go back to being a vegetarian. We mostly eat Chicken and frozen fish.....only because I can't handle fresh :yikes:..I know you can get it ready prepared but even so it still looks too........fishy !!:heehee:

Laundry is patiently waiting for me to hang it out and then we're popping into our local little town to do a few bits.

Hopefully I will get to spend the afternoon out in the garden but I'm not too sure how productive I'll be.:dunno:
My fingernails have vertical ridges running down them...yes I've been checked out for any deficiencies and for thyroid issues...all negative.:dbgrtmb:. Occasionally one might split completely....and bleed, this happen yesterday while I was stripping our bedding. Ouch and yuk:yikes: !! I'm now sporting our very last plaster that hubs has reinforced with some diy tape to make sure it doesn't budge until more plasters are bought in town.

It'll be hard to cope with as the nail will take time to grow out the full split.

Oh well another of life's little challenges that it likes to throw at us.;)

                      Have a marvellous Monday .

Meat turns on me, I can't even look at it, except pork sausages ... I don't know why.
I only eat fresh salmon and trout. I put them in the freezer but I buy them fresh,
                        and I eat kippers.
I am almost a vegetarian but I don't like 'vegetarian' food, if you know what I mean - those concoctions you can get in cafes etc

Your nail sounds painful @Upsydaisy, I hope it heals soon .

                          Morning all.

I am waking with a positive attitude that we will both be Negative. We will do the tests about 10-ish. I had a good sleep. j is always grumpy in the morning.

Oh Upsy, the nail sounds painful so be careful today. Mine are like lead.

Today is Segunda Segunda (second Monday) so Algoz has a huge monthly market and it is difficult parking in the small town so J will go to the Post Office after 2 o'clock when markets pack up. I am expecting some plants from Spain and Malta.

Another hot dry day awaits us.

Thanks Michael. It is pretty awful too!!

Yes I fully agree , meat...or infact any dead animal in my kitchen is to me totally revolting.

I only started to 'use ' meat after I married and our children began joining us. There was very limited information or supplies about how to provide a really healthy and balanced diet without the inclusion of meat back in those days. . My Mum , bless her, just use to serve me the same meal as the rest of the family....minus the meat.:)
I was obviously wanting to do the best for our brood so meat ,I then thought, just had to be included.

Thankfully since hubs retired he now does all the main meal cooking ....I think he was concerned he might not get any meat again since all our boys left home.:roflol: And to be honest....he wouldn't have done:whistle:.

I have to hold my breath when passing the fresh meat and fish counters how people can work on them is beyond me, especially all day!!

We in fact do include several non meat meals in our weekly eating plans.

Enjor your day, hopefully your walls will get finished today....pics please!xx

                              Morning Vicky.

Okey dokey...my fingers can just about last until then...but not my poorly one.:)

Glad that J is up and out and about and able to do the grocery shopping.

Hope your plants arrive safe and sound.
