Some of the ladies live in Toronto and they're just worried about their roads being cleared properly. The one who does most of the driving is a little silly in not having snow tyres. Although none of the gals is tiny so they needn't worry about getting traction.. Don't tell them I said that

Morning all. It is a sunny and cold morning in Paradise being 4c and feeling 2c but going to 14c.

Had a lovely visit from Brenda and Donald and caught up on general gossip. They asked if they could bring their dog but J said No as we would be indoors ... besides it frightens the babes.

Nothing on the cards today, just keeping warm. Munch didn't even go out nd Van went out and in and both are now back in bed.

It is 28f -2c and very still. The snow last night was very heavy and shoveling was a heart exerciser. Overnight only a thin layer - maybe an inch, inch and a half - is now on the driveway. The plow has not been around the street but cars have flattened the white stuff so it should be negotiable. The guessers say it won't be above freezing again, day or night, for quite some time.

I don't know if the ladies are coming or not. Pretty much hinges on the one lady and she is a late sleeper. I do think it's a bit aggravating because even though I have plenty of the prep work done in advance, I still need 3 or 4 hours to complete everything. Cutting it a bit close here...

Time to get moving here as I want to clear the last bit of snow.

Had an enjoyable day in the garden yesterday and am hoping for much the same again today.

It seems that we haven't yet lost our -C nights after all but thankfully they're not as low as they were.

Good morning. With our start of 3.5c this morning, we will all be a row. The sun is out and there is a breeze so deceiving. We didn't get the showers yesterday evening and I have post-nasal drip this morning.Sinus indicators are high at the moment.

The guys are not meeting today as John has some building works to attend to.

Did you see yesterday's 'A Place In The Sun' they were in Crete. Certainly had a few friendly cats around waiting to greet people!!


Nasal drip is awful...hubs suffers with it constantly after having gone through so many surgeries for the removal of polyps over the years. It has completely ruined his nasal lining and tract....so much effects how bad it is...weather, pollen, even certain foods, I feel so sorry for him having to constantly blow/wipe his nose... I 've offered to insert a tampon ,but surprisingly he decline my offer.

Morning Upsy. We are okay but feeling the cold. We are still propped on the bed ... as are the Furries!

Yes, I saw all the cutie cats. I watch it at 3pm followed by the idiots going abroad to start businesses. The ones in Italy are caught out by Brexit and have to go back every 90 days till they get their Permanent Visas. Why don't people plan ahead? It is not like it happened suddenly!

I may take an Actifed in a moment. Think it is the same as Clarityn but cheaper. Should have taken one last night.

Must get up now and get these old joints moving. Enjoy your gardening. xx

Well that week came and went very quickly!!

Nothing much on the cards for this weekend, it will be a ' go with the flow' one..

Hopefully one sure thing will be to have video calls with all 3 of our brood at some point. I want to try and see when will be a good time to go and visit our middle son and girlfriend. They are in the throws of furnishing their upstairs now that the renovations up there are finally completed. So it would be good to have bed in their guest room that we could use .

Morning @Flumpy. No , but now he's lost all his sense of smell and has a less powerful sense of taste too but that is due to all the surgeries he's had to remove them..he's had lots!!

But no it wasn't a symptom..
