    Morning Vicky.

Oh wow..I just had to Google that whereabouts of your pic...also known as the Stone Forest..nature is so awesome.

Brrrrr.... no it's making me shiver just thinking about it .:yikes:

Hubs wants to pop into our local little town.....but I really need to double check on all the tender plants first.

I've just taken my Vit.D....unfortunately in tablet form at this time of year. Boo hoo!:cry3:

    Have a lovely day xx

      Good day
It is 30f -1c and the guessers say that we'll be lucky to get even a few degrees warmer.

That formation is quite interesting @Victoria .

It is a pd day for the kids so Em is getting a nice sleep in. By the way, we had a giggle when we went for her blood test the other day. When it was Em's turn, the nurse called out "Eee-Milly, room 2". So I tease her once in awhile by calling her EeMilly :heehee:

Today is "everything" collection day so I've already hauled the rubbish, the recycle, the garden waste bag and the food waste wheelie to the kerb. It's a good clean out. :)

Time to get a load of towels out of the dryer and then sit and read the news.

      Cheers :coffee:

        Brrrrrrr Good nippy morning everyone.

Frosty start to our day here.

I have absolutely no plans whatsoever for today, I'm feeling incredibly achy this morning, my joints are most definitely complaining about the cold. Despite it being toasty warm here indoors it's as if they are prewarning of the pain they will inflict if I dare to step outside. So I must obey their orders ...... just for today.

We did go into our little town to do the most dreaded of chores yesterday afternoon and it was surprisingly quiet, I rewarded myself with 2 bottles of Mulled Wine , one the normal variety and the other Gingerbread. I had a warming glass of the Gingerbread one last night ...mmmmmmmm it was delish!!!

Might have to have another one today to accompany a good old black and white Christmas movie . ;):heehee:

        Have a restful day too.

Stone Forest, SW China. I think this is lovely.

          Morning Upsy and all.
We four slept like logs last night ... Four in a Bed! We don't have any heat on between 11pm and 8am, then the bedroom one comes on for an hour and the lounge one.

Hope you feel better snuggled up Upsy. Our normal quiet weekend here. I finished the first ball of yarn yesterday ... I have eight. It works so easily, really lovely yarn. Now that my Adenium Nursery (plus two Bonsai Plumeria I did from seed) is in The Baffa I don't have to water daily but I still like to sit in the sun out front for 20-30 minutes daily.

Mmmm, When we have it J adds a shot of Ginger Wine to a mug.

Warning...be prepared for a fortnight of looking at my absolutely fave little green veggie....:roflol:

            th (1).jpg

            Morning everyone.

Another nippy -2C night last night, but at least frost looks pretty in the early morning light.:)We have rain arriving late morning .

Hope to get the remaining Dahlias that are left in situ sorted out and snuggly covered and bedded down for the Winter today at last. I will be able to relax a bit then.:phew:

Busy yesterday arranging a Christmas get together with friends at a newly opened local Hotel. All planned for the following week, should be fun.

Went over the transport timetables for getting to our younger son's place next weekend. Last year he met us at Waterloo and then we just followed him to the connecting tube trains. This time we insisted that we find our own way there.......:fingers crossed::fingers crossed:, at least this time it won't be rush hour!!:yikes:

Instead of a black and white Christmas movie....I ended up watching ( again) The Perfect Storm... complete opposite to the feel good vibe I had originally aimed for!!
The Mulled Wine did help a little bit though.:heehee:

            Enjoy a restful Sunday.

Morning all. Another sunny start to the day here.

I liked A Perfect Storm. We watched The Holiday yesterday with Cameron Diaz, Kate Winsett, Jude Law and Jack Black. It was good, about two women who swap homes for two weeks at Christmas.

I got different dye lots with my yarn (my fault as from two suppliers) so have to figure something out with it today to "camoflage".

Morning Vicky, oh that is annoying isn't it. I did that once when knitting a cardigan, thankfully it had flecked colouring so I equally distributed the yarn usage on both 2 sides of the front. I only 'think ' I could see the difference because I knew it was there but nobody else did...or they were too polite to say,if they had I would've said it was intentional.;):heehee:

Have a feeling I've seen that film but will check it out just in case I haven't.:blue thumb:

Hope you like Sprouts...there's a lot more to come!!!!

Have a fab day both of you.xx

I know, the mistakes jump out at you and scream, don't they? :rolleyespink: Also the skein come blue/cream/brown but some come brown/cream/blue so I had to use one skein from the outside rather than pulling from the middle grrr! Oh well, it will keep me occupied!

I love the cute Brussels (and Brussels slightly al dente ... J won't entertain them at all and hates the smell! Well, he hates the smell of Geraniums too.

Have a lovely day and keep warm. xx

I just love them in any way....but fresh at this time of year is definitely the best..even shredded raw in salad....fortunately I don't suffer from any aftereffects !!!

                      Good day
I is 28f -2c but going all the way up to 44f 6c with large helpings of rain.

@Upsydaisy that film showed me just how bad a sailor I would make. Back when it came out on DVD, I had one of those big old projection TV's and when we were watching it, I was right next to the screen. I thought I was going to toss my dinner there!

@Victoria you can imagine the disaster it was when a client would insist on getting their own fabric for draperies but knew nothing about dye lots etc. Whole panels that were glaringly different shades!

I love brussels sprouts too and the ones I'm growing won't have a chance to mature as we have been below freezing too much.

I've got a busy day ahead and best get to it as it is already almost 7!

                      Cheers :coffee:

Morning Lori glad you like sprouts too...only 13 more pics to go. :heehee:

Well as you may remember my IoW trips had me on tender hooks....just unimaginable how anyone can deal with situations like these major sea disasters . I have such admiration for all Emergency Sea Rescuers.

I did see one Christmas related film last night...just an easy ( corny) storyline .Christmas in the Rockies.

A tad naff but easy on the brain. :heehee:

                        Enjoy your day.
