      Good day
It is 34f 1C and snowing. Looks really pretty :)

I've got my show on and have been looking through some court docs to make sure there is nothing that needs my attention this week. So far so good.

I also had to search out my Inkbird thermostat manual online as I can't remember how to program the thing. I was laughing at @pete 's post about having to dig out the manual and look at me, I'm doing it today!

I have a very light day for chores and am just going to slouch my way through.

      Cheers:coffee:

            Good day
It is 22f -7C and cloudy. The guessers say it will be dipping a lot lower in the next few days. Typical and certainly no surprise. We were spoiled with how mild it has been up to now.

I'm going to play today. Inside. I've got a bunch of book marks I want to sew to use up some leftover fabric. I'm going to sew the spring top. And I do have some finishing to do on two jackets. That is if I don't get distracted by being so idle :)

I do have one errand and that is to pick up a bread box which I bought through Facebook Marketplace. It's new, in the box and originally $125 and I am getting it for $19 :yay:

            Cheers :coffee:

Morning Lori. Enjoy your sewing day.

Wow, sound like an excellent buy on the bread box. Is it wood? I have a plain stainless steel one, but we keep cookies in it as the bread is in the fridge.

It is a stainless steel one. I am reducing my plastic bag use as much as possible. There is nothing I can do about packaging the stuff I give away but for at home, this might work. I just have to figure out where I want to place it on the counter top. It is about 11' deep, 17" wide and about 7" high. :)

That is similar to mine ... but it didn't cost that much..

Looks like the box got sold to someone else - but I have put in an offer on another one :)

Good morning everyone, hope you're all well today.

Sad day yesterday as my sister had to have her gorgeous Georgie put to sleep :cry3: :cat-kittyandsmiley:.So sad she even made an effort to be playful on Saturday when I last saw her, trying to catch her little pink and yellow wriggly toys.

During our lovely day out yesterday I called into a fabric shop for a browse at the material and patterns. I did find a few that I quite liked but nothing really stood out.
I'm going to surf the net to see if I can find anything to inspire me to get the sewing machine out.

I'm off to attend a dental check up followed by a hygienist appointment this morning. I plan to call by my sister's on the way back .So most definitely not such a fun day today :heehee:.

Later the vacuum cleaner will be calling me to run it around upstairs, after stripping the bedding.
Then it will be the washing machine's turn to try to grab my attention.

If I find time I will try to have some fun time out in the garden as the weather is still looking good.:fingers crossed:

Hope you all have a super day.

Morning all. I wasn't well yesterday, stomach and throat problems probably from dripping sinus and felt very weak. Drank three cups of ginger tea. Feel brighter this morning thankfully.

Oh, how sad about Georgie Upsy. So beautiful but for the best with the latest health issues. Big :imphrt: To your Sister from me. xx We have gone through that several times, heart wrenching. :cry3:

I have to go with J to the Pharmaacy today to have the Pharmacist certify I am still alive . Have to do this every two years for Pension? purposes. Other than that, nothing special going on here.

                      Have a pleasant one everyone.

Oh so sorry to hear that you weren't well yesterday Vicky....healing :grphg: are sent to you . Hope you continue recovering today.xx

Yes she's had loads of pet's herself too, but it never gets any easier does it, especially living alone. It comes at a stressful time too, waiting on medical results and our Aunts pending funeral . I will see how she is later on.

                          Good day,
It is 15f -12C and cloudy but I do see some little bits of blue in between the white puffs so this could be promising :)

I always hate hearing about little furry friends passing but luckily we mostly only hear about the ones that are well taken care of and loved.

@Victoria I'm sorry to hear that you weren't well - putter in slow gear today to try to take it easy please.

@Upsydaisy snap! Naughty me stopped in a fabric shop on my way back from getting the bread box yesterday. I bought two fabrics that were marked down to either $3 or $5 a meter. Unbelievable bargain. If what I make with them does not look good, it won't matter much as the fabric is pretty much "muslin" pricing.

The bread box was not very clean but came up lovely after lots of attention with Dawn soap. I left a roll out of the bag, inside the box overnight and it was a bit hard this morning so certainly not air tight. At least the bags of baking are hidden in there though.

Got a puttering day today and just slouching through.

                          Cheers :coffee:

Lori what do you suggest is a good workable
width and quantity to purchase when stocking up a stash that would be enough for a range of garments..dress, skirt and tops.
If I see fabric I like but as yet have no plans as to what to make with it I would like to still buy it for later use.
Thanks in advance of any wise words you may be able to offer.:)

                            Have a good day.
