It is 31f -1C and cloudy. There is only about and inch of snow now layered onto the drifts and banks we already so nothing earth shattering.

Coffee and cake sounds lovely @Upsydaisy and @Victoria I hope you have a relaxing day.

I have lots of little things on my to do list. I've to the smart watch now and the gyro/gps tracker on my leg to follow me throughout my day. The people did tell me that at the end of the study, they will tell me everything they discovered. I think it's good that they are figuring out how/what to do to improve the aging process so that your last years are a experienced with good quality of life. We'll see .

Off to read the news now, get into Hilda mode and get at my to do list.

I’m a little confused with the rules of the photo competition, I thought if all your pictures add up to the highest number you win, but is it the one picture now with the highest likes ?

 

@Flumpy it is, Jocko got 11 for one of his pics and you got 9, but I think maybe one of yours was disqualified as it was of a sunrise and not a sunset. I noticed what you had done a while back but didn't want to say anything after you said about your Uncle.

 

Hi Karen. Only one photo can win so it is the Likes for that one that counts ... it has always been like that.

Good morning all. Love ginger cats, had rescued two of them, placed them in nice homes. Presently only one cat left now, she will be 20 in April.
Frost on the lawn and hardy geraniums this morning, a lovely white sparkly look. "Christmas Cake" have a loaf in the freezer from when I made 6 of them in December, keeps well. Its probably different than your thinking, mine is Apple Walnut Cranberry, with some cardamom spice in it. Also make Biscotti, 5 dozen, both a give away for gifts. No one needs "stuff" anymore. Just working on sorting papers for our accountant for the figures for taxes soon to be done by mid April. Thank goodness I keep on top of my filing system, and notes to the side all year. Have a grand day all.

Oh how I wish it was morning here now as the sun has just come out and we have a cloudless blue sky...but it's 5pm!!

Must say we are like you and keep well on top of all paperwork too. Makes life so much easier.

I think we will probably venture out somewhere and make the most of the sunshine. Might go and have a wander through one of the parks in Southampton and then go for a meal. No definite decision has been made yet.

Morning all. I love Gingers too and have had a couple. They are sweet natured.

It is another lovely morning and promises to be the same as yesterday.

J meeting up with John today as the latter has something else planned for tomorrow, I want to get some seed organised as Ben the Gardener is coming Saturday to Spring Tidy and I want to get some sown directly in the ground before the possible showers at the weekend.
