Morning. It is a noisy start here as they are spraying the orange groves. It is a nippy 8c and sunny heading for 18c.

Upsy, it is a good job the fridge didn't go kaput in the summer!

I think J is doing another shopping day, Aldi today. He goes to different places Aldi, Lidl and Intermarche, all in different areas so different days.

Have a good ' end of the week' everyone.

        Morning Vicky :)

Yes too true, the good thing is it only took a couple of days to get a replacement.:dbgrtmb:

I have to say that my post was in jest and that we haven't really had or eaten any 'off ' food.

Hmm .. I think we may well end up doing some grocery shopping over the weekend ( we desperately try to avoid this time). ,as the fridge will definitely be bare!!

We do the same too Vicky....there are certain items we like from a few different stores..Lidl, Aldi, Tesco, Sainsbury's and once month Asda.

I hope the noise stops soon so that you can sit out in peace and enjoy your day. xx

Morning Michael, how are you today? :)

Normally I would happily share with you and say 'feel free and help yourself ' but forgive if I don't on this occasion......I have your best interests at heart.;)

          Have a good day. xx

It normally stops in about half an hour.

Brrr ... it is too cold for me to sit out just yet ... later when it warms up. :heehee:

J was playing with the TV yesterday afternoon and I saw A Place in the Sun in Alvor area (where the hospital is I go to). Two women and I didn't like the house they bought. Following was Brits in the Sun or something and a restaurant near Boliqueime (pronounced bol-eh-kem).

I'm fine @Upsydaisy thank you, hope you are too xx ...
I'm hoping Bella will settle so that I can go to Carmarthen on the bus. I won't go out unless I know she's settled sleeping somewhere in the house (or shed in the summer) Daft I know but there you are .
The bus goes at 11.35 from my nearest town so I'll drive there, it's 3 miles. The bus that comes through this village arrives in the town 5 mins after the Carmarthen bus has left :gaah: You'd think they would synchronise the times.

It must be awkward without a fridge,
              like the old days.

                  Good day
It is mild. 36f 2c and again, a cloudy day. The guessers are still promising the sun will muscle through by tomorrow and that will be wonderful.

I've got the rubbish and recycle at the kerb and sitting enjoying my cuppa.

I did make that top yesterday but I need to do something different with the hem so I will be picking that apart and fiddling with it later.

Like some of you, I have a little bit of shopping to do but that will wait until mid morning as I have promised to do a stop at the liquor store for someone and that store does not open until 10.

@Michael Hewett I sometimes wonder about the brains that do the transit "planning" too. I realize that adjusting one connection might have a ripple effect with the rest but it's ridiculous that in this case, there is no connection!

@Upsydaisy a new refrigerator always is fun. It took me about a month to settle on shelf heights and food arrangements before I found the "magic" set up.

@Victoria I guess you wait to sit outside until late morning at this time of year and have to wait a few hours for it to be comfortable. At least you don't have to wait for a few (5) months for it to be comfortable for sitting outside ;)

                  Cheers :coffee:

Yes, this time of year late morning is best in The Courtyard ... but still can feel quite hot surrounded by three walls and the Southern Sun shining through the fourth to the orchard. It is clouding over now and we may have a little rain over the weekend.

Good morning.....the weekend is here! :hapydancsmil:

Another windy night last night, it's been the same for nearly every night this week!

Our new fridge arrived on time and is safely installed into it's new home. It will get switched on after lunch as it had to be left to stand for 24hrs before doing so.

Hubs has hinted that we might have to go grocery shopping this afternoon but I'm working on trying to convince him that it could be left until Monday...or Tuesday....or maybe Wednesday.......:heehee:

Not sure of any other plans for today as the weather is absolutely awful.
It will definitely be a ' go with the flow ' kind of day today.
                          :dbgrtmb:

Have a good day and enjoy whatever you have planned.

The sun has found us and is breaking some cloud but rain is forecast for later. We are 12c going to 18c.

Just love the Panda Upsy and he's clinging on not to get blown away! Pleased your new fridge arrived on time.

No special plans here. J took all the Christmas decorations down yesterday and put them in the loft. He puts too much up ... three trees plus all sorts!!! I have more clothes I need to sort out ... I still have too many that I don't wear.

Have a good day and keep dry and warm.

                              Hello there Vicky. :)

:heehee: He will definitely need to cling on tightly at the moment that's for sure!!

Yes I must admit to not missing the job of putting the decorations away this year. It was just a case of collecting up all the cards.

If I don't get the opportunity to get outside today then I will designate today as a Jigsaw Puzzle day.

I might even.....ssh don't let on to hubs.. plan train travel routes/ times, etc. to middle sons place.

I'd better let hubs recover from our last adventure first though. I 'm thinking end of Feb, beginning of March should give him adequate recovery time. :dbgrtmb:

I didn't like the house that the coup!e went with in Portugal in one of this week's episodes of PITS either Vicky.:blue thumb:

Have a good day sorting out your clothes cupboard.

                                Good day,
It is 34f 1c and I believe it is cloudy out there. The guessers have said the skies will clear and though it will get colder, the sunshine will make me much happier!

A usual Saturday. Laundry on the go and soon I'll make some scones and then some gluten free cookies with psyllium husk.

                                Cheers :coffee:
