Morning Upsy. It is maintenance ... have Geraniums in a trough, also Arrozinho (can't think of the Latin name, one of the ice plants) to trim before bloom time, an Allamanda Vine and various house plants.

 

That's looks really pretty Vicky,.

This is where you're very fortunate at being able to over winter plants....here we either have to protect / dig up and store under cover of just count our losses and start over again each Spring.

I have been very busy lately and don't anticipate a break in the activity for awhile so I will be giving the forum a miss for a short while.

Aww you'll be missed that's for sure but I know what it can be like to fit in time to post. I have felt that I must respond for fear of being thought of as ignoring posts occasionally. It's the same for 'liking ' posts too, some evenings I sit and do a ' job lot'

Love cascading plants Vicky. Have over here hardy geraniums, they deal with cold very well, have some in tree stumps they mound over the stump well.

Good morning to all who drop by.

I hope that everyone ( who lives here in the UK) survived the winds yesterday with little ,or better still no ,damage done.

We just had a few slightly battered plants but nothing more thankfully.

I did manage to have a couple of hours in the greenhouse in the afternoon once the wind died down....a bit.

I pricked out and potted on over a 100 miniature Snap Dragons .

I have an unearthly early Dentist appointment this morning at 8:30 , why I booked it at that time I have no idea....must be going mad !!
Just having an old small filling replaced so it won't take long.

As the weather is looking good ( ish) I will walk there and back ,I will allow myself plenty of time and will go carefully on my dodgy foot, which has been better over the last day or two.

Lovely start to the day at 10c going to 20c.

Nothing in particular here for today J except going to Aldi. I hope to sit out front for 20 minutes and catch a little Vit D.

Good morning all, 8:24AM here sipping my coffee. Just put new suet out, and the birds are attacking it. I thought as I had walked out to get the empty one I could hear them yelling at me from the trees, "your late, your late". Have ordered more.
Today, my chess club meeting, about 3 hours, a few games to keep the brain moving. And other errands to get to. Still working on taxes. Yesterday had to get with an agency for reports needed ---they are so disorganized, now that is the 2nd company I have to be on top of. Windy, see some snow flurries. Have a good day all.

I've only just go back home!!!! Thanks , everything went as planned at the Dentist and all was done and dusted by 9:15.

Walked on a little way and did a little bit of shopping before calling in to see my sister.

Then took the longer route home as it's such a lovely day here..

We've just had a quick lunch and now I'm heading off out into the garden/ greenhouse.

Making the most of being out in the garden this morning as it looks like we have rain on the horizon for this afternoon.

We had a -3C night last night but hopefully we're in for milder nights for at least the next fortnight.
Unfortunately we are also in for a fortnight of rain too.

Never mind...Spring has definitely sprung.
