    Good morning8.jpeg
It is a lovely, bright morning with no rain on the horizon for this month at all so I will have to make sure J has the irrigation on and to water that which is not on it, ie my seeds in pots. Bless him, he just does not see things drooping or dried up and dying. I have lost a few things this year so far as we have not had rain.

Nothing special on the agenda today.

      Morning Vicky. :)

I think sometimes it's not only selective hearing that men have but also sight too at times.:heehee:

No real agenda here either but I am going out into the garden in moment to 'potter'. Going by our forecast the rain should arrive around midday.

      Enjoy your day. xx

Bom dia Upsy. Oh, I do agree. J has glasses for near and far, two pairs of each, and he always has the wrong pair! Also, not sure he wears either when outside. He refuses to have his hearing tested ... even after that incident when he had to have his ears cleaned some months back. I am not allowed to speak to him if he is near water running, the Air Fryer is on (pretty silent in my opinion) ... etc. But the good always outweighs the bed.

I shall go out in the sun/fresh air a bit later and look at my seedlings hopefully peeking out. Enjoy your day. xx

Morning all. 8:30 AM. Sipping my coffee. Yesterday the bundle of joy tax information was taken to our accountant for her to start plugging in the numbers to the right areas, we should get lots of deductions. At the chess club meeting I lost two games this time. Evidently my opponent spends most evenings playing it on the computer, LOL. its fun anyway. I did win 2 from him last meeting.
In our local newspaper there is this group who each year has a photo contest, its called The Octoraro Watershed Association--their mission is preservation of land in our county to maintain farm lands and wilderness. I have seen the contest over the years, and judging results in the little newspaper so this year I entered 2 photos, showed the organizer another one on my cell, she said she wanted that one also. So went and got that one blown up to the accepted 8X10 size. They also have some sort of dinner gathering this month she invited me to, with a speaker. Planning on going to the gathering. The dinner is on March 23rd, while in the information I have it does not actually say that on that date the out come of the photo contest will be announced, I guess it is inferred. There will be door prizes etc. The event is just about 20 mins from me in the next town. 31 degrees today, and very windy. Have a good day all.

                Good day everyone

Our day here is looking surprisingly OK, originally we were to have rain but now we have a more promising forecast. :)

Having a day off from the garden today and meeting up with a friend for a cinema vist. There's two out at the moment that we want to see .
Today we're seeing My Sailor, My Love.

                Have a good day.

It is a hazy sun start here with 12cgoing to 21c.

                  Enjoy the movie Upsy.

I went into The Baffa yesterday afternoon to examine my Adenium Nursery and some were very dry (pots lightweight, dead leaves and shrivelling caudexes) but J said he gave good water on Sunday. I soaked all pots and must visit more often. It is just a difficult journey for me, but ... the old adage, if you want something done! Nothing here today, just a sit outside catching some VitD.

                    Good morning Vicky.

                    Oh dear.

In J's defence I must admit it is pretty hard keeping up with the watering at times especially when heat ( in your case ..sunshine :heehee: ) is added to the mix. I have recently moved a lot of our seedlings out into the greenhouse and have to keep my eye on them all the time. One day this week I went to open it up mid morning and it was 28C. I now prefer to stand them in a tray of water when required rather that water from above.

I'm dreading when we go away...I think I'll have to move them all out otherwise they will fry in there and at the moment it's too nippy to leave the door open overnight. Hmmm..... I didn't think this through properly.

Still Vit D tablets here for another month...at least!

                    Have a lovely day xx

Morning Upsy. It is just on the ledge, a five minute job at most.

Believe it or not, I tale a Vit D3 2000 capsule as I don't spend much time outside, then in filtered sun.

@Upsydaisy, Yep, men seem to not hear well or see well. Or notice things done. so many examples I can share. But---anyway---Love going to the cinema in the afternoon, hardly anyone there, sometime I am the only one, and senior discount. Have to check see what's playing to plan a day with regard to weather. I take Vit D3 1,000 units daily, and the blood work done about 2 months ago shows its all good. My PCP says I am a rare bird as not on any man made pills.
We just had a nice stress reliever, the person that is staying at our Airbnb in North Carolina signed up for 6 more months and at the summer rate. He works with contract at the near by military base. According to our property manager he keeps the house looking awesome, as if no one is there, and only uses one bedroom, leaving the other 2 alone, and uses only one bathroom. He pays for a cleaning service monthly. My neighbors report he is very quiet, and hardly there. Nice to have someone in the house. Sometime getting the usual short term can be stressful as competition is out there. A bird in hand is worth 2 in a bush. Off to whatever the day brings, garden, and house. Have a good day all.

                        Hi @redstar.

Cinema is cheap here and yes daytime showings are nice and quiet too . Today there were only 6 others + my friend and I.

Same here too ,I take Vit D for 6 mths over the Winter and that's all. My Dentist ,and the same happened this week when I went for an appointment, always says ' is it still no to medications?'

Good morning Woo and everyone else.:)

                            Brilliant film thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was filmed on Achill Island just off of mainland Ireland and it's stunningly beautiful .

We have 2 more films to see lined up over the next month.:)

Hubs and I had thought of going for a wander around the Farmers Market in Winchester but decided it would be a better to go on a nicer day.
Now we reached that decision you wait we'll have a beautifully sunny day !!:heehee:

Whatever the weather might be ...have a great Friday.

Happy St Patrick's Day! J will have a Guiness when he meets John today. I don't like Guiness so I may have an Irish whiskey and 7-Up this evening. My maternal Grandfather was Irish from County Sligo.

Nothing planned for me today except sitting out late morning. I trimmed a trough of Geraniums yesterday that J got down for me and reported two seedlings.
