    Morning.

Calm morning and a warm day ahead.

May go and have a bite of lunch with J and John today at Roosters. Not my favourite venue as it is alongside a busy road, but it is an outing.

Safe journey Upsy and keep dry!

      Good day
It is cloudy but has warmed up to 32f 0c. The guessers are saying we'll dip a bit later and the rain will turn to snow but whatever may come, it will probably melt very quickly.

@Victoria I hope you are enjoying some nice food. Well, it's always nice food when someone else has prepared it for you!

Since I'll be inside for the morning, I'm going to spend the time repurposing a cold frame cover (14g ultra clear plastic) into a new cover for the wood pile. I will be moving that face cord of wood and it's stand the next dry day we have. It will be great to have a new cover ready for it in it's new location. :)

      Cheers :coffee:

Morning all, 9AM, here on Friday. In my roaming about yesterday did grab some lunch at a nice restaurant and an adult beverage.
Husband brought home good stuff from and auction for the Airbnb. We just have to store it till we can get down there. One of the things he got was a solid heavy wooden picnic table with two long seats and 3 short seats, all fresh painted up for Five Dollars. Some very nice table lamps for Ten dollars, with awesome shades, newly re-wired. and more stuff with equal the steal cost.
Will be out in the garden today, trying to dig up any stupid weeds in places that sprays can't go.

@Upsydaisy , love your bird information you show. We have a certain type of bird, forgot the name right now, it is not here yet. but it seems to like to sit on the clothes line and see's bugs dropping from the tree, flies off and grabs them mid way and then back again on the clothes line. Its cute to watch him in action.

        Have a good day all.

OK, went to find the name of that bird. Here it is---https://youtu.be/Dr2XO_9vyGU

Just got back from lunch with the guys. I had a great welcome from Owner and waitress as they haven't seen me since before Christmas so know I am alive!!! I had a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich and a dark Rum and Coke, The drive through the orange groves was incredible with all the blooms.

          Going to sit outside now.

Morning all. Guess Upsy is having a snooze in this morning. Hope the train journey was good.

Just a calm day here. Nothing on the cards to speak off.

Wishing a happy weekend whatever is going on.

                Good day
It is really warm this morning 48f 8c and the guessers have told us to enjoy these few moments as we're going back in the freezer by the afternoon. The sun is shining too until then so I'm happy with that.

@Upsydaisy I'm glad you got there with little fuss and wow- a wedding coming up. Congratulations!

@Victoria I don't think I've ever met a cat that didn't pull at my heart strings. I have friends with cats and take an antihistamine before going to see them to stave off allergic reactions. I then get to pet the furries without punishment. :) There is only one friend's home, with a cat, I won't visit because everything is covered in the moggie's hair and I just can't bring this home with me. And I'm not going to tell him how to live his life.

I've got my usual mundane Saturday. Laundry, tidying and I'll be Hilda today since I don't have to go anywhere. It now takes my hair a full 4 hours to dry.

                Cheers :coffee:

Morning all. A warm day ahead.

Lori, I agree how cats/kittens pull heart strings. How can anyone be cruel to them.

Redstar, trust the surprise dinner/party was a success.

Upsy, know you are having a grand time whatever you are up to.

Just a lazy Sunday here starting with soaks in the tub for both. My feet and muscles love it.

                          Good Morning .

Having a great time, we're just heading out for brunch then later on son is cooking a Sunday Roast.

Yesterday it was girlfriend's .....oops no :nonofinger: fiancee's  , turn and she cooked a scrumptious Italian dish..... family are Italian/ French and so along with our son cooking expertise they enjoy a very wide and interesting international menu.

                          Have a chilled Sunday everyone.

                            Good day
It is 27f -3c so not as cold as the guessers claimed it would be but still chilly enough to keep me inside for the early part of the morning.

@Victoria I hope your soak is relaxing. I have not used the tub in nearly 30 years as I don't have the patience to take in a good soak. @Upsydaisy it sounds like a gourmet holiday :dbgrtmb:

I've got my usual Corrie morning coming up and will be doing lots of baking and other puttering while the 6 episodes air.

I'm champing at the bit to get outside and start rearranging some things in the back yard and I think the earliest I will be able to start is maybe tomorrow. It all depends on if the ground has dried up a bit yet.

                            Cheers all :coffee:

Happy Sunday morning, 38 degrees here.
Was so windy last night, lots of limbs down have to get about to pick up. never ending with a wooded property.
Yes, yesterday's birthday lunch was awesome, husband likes the guy a lot as they are car talking buddies, his wife is interesting. Yesterday she told me something that was nuts. Here she is a proclaimed Vegan (that's not the issue, I respect that). Later we were talking about her 3 year old cat she had as a kitten, some how it came out that she got that cat DECLAWED. (the front paws) It was all I could do to tell her she was a horrid human being. I asked her, do you know what they did to the cat, she said, oh pull out the nails. So I explained to her what the surgery is. It just floors me when people don't do research about things before. There is something with her that I know we can't be buddie buddies. But anyway for the sake of husband who had a good time with they guy at dinner, laughing etc. That is all that mattered. Poor cat. I wish across USA it would be a hard core illegal to Declaw with all vets.

Made pancakes for breakfast using this recipe, used before---it is good. Edna Mae’s Sour Cream Pancakes

@Upsydaisy , my first husband was half French and half Italian, his parents could cook awesome and host awesome, like magic. I had the enjoyment of watching and learning from them for 4 years before their son got nuts. Anyway, they seemed to be able to host effortlessly. Its all about planning. My second set of in-laws the opposite, but another story.

Have a good day all. I imagine some schizophrenic jobs to do today.
