Thanks Upsy. Caroline has cancelled due to a stinking cold so just John, J and me. It has become a bit overcast.

Hope all goes well at the docs.

      Good day
It is up to 42f 5c and cloudy. The guessers say that it will start raining again and continue doing so for the next 5 days.

I am late here because with that forecast, I figured it would be a good idea to get out there to put up a teepee and plant my yellow beans. Then I took out the seeds for cucumbers, sweet peas (direct sown ones) and morning glories and planted those too. I fighting with myself as to whether to go back out and plant in my broccolli seedlings (about 8 inches tall!) and brussels sprouts seedlings. Oh what the heck, yes, I'll go back out now and then it will be a Hilda morning.

I hope J gets his fillings over with quickly @Victoria. To me it is the time to travel to and from which is chewing out a part of my day that frustrates me. And then you get to lay there and think about all the things you want to be doing instead!

@Upsydaisy little ones are so cute. Even my youngest grandchild is now 12 so I too miss the days when we played with simple toys and used our imaginations together.

Off I get now. See you later whilst being rolled up!

      Cheers :coffee:

Morning all. Friday. Chilly and raining here. 8AM
Gearing up for our trip on May 2, our destination for the car show is Knoxville, TN. prior to will stop over in Charlottesville, VA for some site seeing. After the show on the way back home will take a slightly different route and stop by Lynchburg, Va for site seeing. My cousins are meeting us in Knoxville, TN . will be awesome to see them again, been a few years. And probably bump into folks we know from prior shows. Hope to find a good gift for my "cat sitter" in our travels. Now to keep watching weather forecast for that area to know what to pack ect. and packing the cooler with munchies and beverages ect. We will return on May 10th.

Or next trip begins May 20th, that is the one that I've been working on for a few day, route planning and tour planning. Its a longer drive. About 1,059 miles to the car show. Almost done. That trip will take us to Springfield, Missouri .
Anyway, hope over the weekend I can do some outside tidy up, and cut grass prior to our leaving. Husband working on car polishing etc. Have to get ready for the judging.

I love scoping out new restaurants to eat at when we travel. Southern states have some unique items on their menus. And I try to find the "mom and pop" places instead of the hum drum ones.
Well, take care. Have a grand day all.

              Morning all.

Thank you Upsy. I actually have a cream filled croissant with my tea.

It will be a lazy day for both today except I have my couple of plantlets to deal with.

At 75 I need to slow down :heehee: ... NOT! And at 55 years together :love30:. Actually we have been together longer as we were hippies and moved in together on 18 January.

              Wishing all a good day.

Forgot to say Tom visited at 1am. Van did a lot of growling on the back off the chair at Tom sitting inches from him with the screen in between. J got up and shouted and Tom jumped down. Then he was seen eating his dinner and drinking water.

                      Good day
It is 44f 6c, cloudy and spitting. And I'm spitting too! I've just been chasing rabbits out of the gardens. They managed to tear down some netting so I have that to repair but in the meantime, at least they have vacated the garden. :paladin:

I only have a few apps and other things left to sort out on this newer computer and am glad of it. It gets frustrating trying to restore everything and the process is monotonous.

I've got laundry on the go and will be starting some bread dough shortly. I have to process some super hot peppers that I purchased before starting the dough. So many of my neighbours love the hot stuff.

@Upsydaisy thank you for the offer of vino but I shall enjoy my cuppas until this evening.

                      Cheers :coffee:

Morning all. A rainy Saturday here.
@Upsydaisy , can identify with your cartoon, I do my best to not wear a bra, hate them, use layers instead, and this will be my 3rd summer not shaving my legs--that goodness for being a redhead, very sparse indeed, and blond. Mind still good, but don't ask husband he may have another opinion about that.
@CanadianLori , awww the rabbits, for years we had none, had some good male hunting cats, they have gone to heaven. Now the rabbits appeared, and even my neighbors ask, where are your cats we see rabbits. But lets hope the fox get them.
Hoping for a good dry outside before Monday afternoon so I can cut the grass, so far does not look like that. And then there is the issue of no rain window to move the car from the garage into the trailer.
Today will focus also on the up coming trip, listing things to see, and finding some interesting restaurants to list. And of course also the boring house stuff. Have a grand day all.

Morning redstar...same here underarms only. I have hardly any body fur. I can remember once when all 3 of us sister's had a get together( back in our friendly days;)) and my younger one mentioned that she had to de - fuzz her legs. Well she caught our elder sister and I exchanging glances at each other ....we had to admit to her that neither of us ever did such a thing. She demanded to look at our legs and couldn't believe her eyes.:roflol:
We said that once started you have to carry on....she was gutted that we hadn't shared this girly bit of important knowledge with her when she was younger.:heehee:
We reminded her that she was a good few years younger than us and we had left home then.

We've always had rabbits here and I love them...I just try and move any real temptation out of their way.:dbgrtmb:

This won't do....I only came in to wash the lunch dishes.:)

                                Enjoy your day.
