    Good day
It is 52f 10c and fairly sunny again. The guessers say it will only get up into the mid 60's at best and that will continue for the rest of the week. We'll see.

I've got more bread dough rising as this is another low rate electric day and the buns in the bread box are getting stale. And a load of Emily's laundry is in the dryer right now. I try never to send anyone home with dirty laundry. It is a foible of mine. Packing clean clothes feels a lot nicer to me than having to haul dirty ones home.

I brought the central vacuum hose upstairs and as soon as Emily is up and around, it will be a clean sweep to freshen things up a bit. Luckily for me, her cousin is coming to pick her up today so I don't have to battle heavy traffic to get her home :dbgrtmb:

I hope you enjoy the show @Upsydaisy and fingers are crossed that your new garden inhabitants arrive @Victoria :fingers crossed:

    Cheers :coffee:

This is a nice one too.

      Good morning everyone:gmorning:

Unfortunately I'm up at this unearthly hour because of painful legs and hips. Taken some painkillers but find it more comfortable to be up and about rather than laying down. It's reminds me of how things were before my knee surgery last year.

Vicky I hope you still have rain....sounds awful I know but I also know how much you need it too.

I'm like you Lori and hate the though of guests going home carrying a suitcase of soiled clothing!

Thoroughly enjoyed the film yesterday. Not sure which film on our list is the next to be realeased, fortunately I get notifications via email from our cinema.

Not sure of today's plans, hubs and I might go into town for the day..... on the other hand we might leave it until Thursday. It might now also depend of course on how my joints feel too.

      I hope you have a super day.:biggrin::dbgrtmb:

Sorry about your painful limbs @Upsydaisy, I hope they'll feel better after the painkillers.
I also find it painful lying down flat, and I've got one of those adjustable beds now. It's much better after I tilt my legs and head up a bit ... so I sleep in a banana position :rolleyespink:

Also suffering from insomnia hence the peeping at GC to put some photos on the May thread.

Enjoy your day whatever you decide to do and I hope it will be pain-free xx

Good morning Michael , I'm sorry to hear that you've also had a sleepless night as well.

My brother has one of those beds an finds it very comfortable. They aren't good for me as I can't sleep on my back, it plays havoc after a short while on my spine and you can't really sleep on your side on them unfortunately.

i did manage to doze for an hour after the meds kicked in and I hope that you were able to get some beneficial sleep eventually too.

Have a lovely day in beautiful Wales xx

Good that you got some sleep @Upsydaisy I did doze off for a while too.

I am quite able to sleep on either side in this bed. I don't rise it up very high, just a bit, but that little bit makes all the difference. I find it impossible to sleep on my back.
I also find it more comfortable than a chair, even a riser-recliner chair, and in fact I find those rather uncomfortable all together ... although they are a help in getting up.

I haven't decided what to do yet. I want to take flowers to B's grave (didn't go for Palm Sunday) but it depends on whether Bella has gone wandering ... we'll see what happens later on. If not I'll go to the garden.

Enjoy your day, and I hope you get some sunshine xx

Morning Upsy and Michael. Sorry to read you both had a sleepless night. Without visitations, we slept reasonably well.

Yes, that is a smart bag. I shall do Cats in Hats this week. :heehee: :cat-kittyandsmiley:

We had some very much needed wet stuff yesterday. it was only 7mm between the thunder rumbles ... that is only 1/4 inch but anything is better than nothing! May have a little more today.

                Have a peaceful day.

This is a nice one Vicky.

Hi everyone how are you all doing.?

Vicky are you anywhere near where they're searching that reservoir for little Madeleine?

My heart is breaking for her family, one way or another they need closure.

I was so tired yesterday after only getting an hour and a quarter of sleep so took things at a slower place, just vacuuming in the morning and a little more planting out pm, but only until 4:30.

I kept up with the full quota of painkillers throughout the day to ensure I had a better nights sleep..thankfully I did.:snooze:

Today after an early appointment we're picking up my sister and visiting a big GC.:hapydancsmil: I need to see if I can get some Bacopa plug plants, for the first time I seem to have no self sown ones coming through...must be due to our cold Winter as they normally germinate well left to their own devices.

Loving our current weather...long may it last :fingers crossed:

                  Have a fab day.

                    Morning all.

Yes, Upsy, it is the Arade Dam, actually near John's farm and the Restaurant we go to is ob the Arade River.

The little rain we have had this week is small, maybe 2/3 of an inch ... but welcomed. It was noisier than it was wet!

J meeting John today for lunch as J has Dentist tomorrow and John on Friday!!!

                      Good day
It is 55f 11c and a bit cloudy. The guessers have told us that we will get some rain this morning. Not a lot but a sprinkle anyway and hopefully as much as you got @Victoria . And I'm happy about that because yesterday I had put down some more grass seed to try to fill in more bald areas where the old garden used to be.

@Upsydaisy every time I read about yours and other's pain, I wish it was legal to ship you some of my fudge or Christmas cake. I know it would help immensely. I hope it gets approved there in the near future!

I feel for that family too. I cannot imagine have to deal with the memories each and every day and the horror of having to witness the constant revisiting of previously searched locations. Those people must be emotionally broken down.

I'll be slouching around my home this morning as it will be a Hilda morning and as the hair dries, I'll be working on preparing the linings for my current job.

The guessers have said the rain will clear out by just after lunch so I can stick with my plans to work in the a.m. and play in the p.m. :)

                      Cheers :coffee:

Good morning , and what a super duper one it is too !!!:hotsun:

We're having a day in town , just wandering around and hopefully calling in on a friend. I was going to phone her first but if she knows we're coming she tries to do to much before our arrival and she isn't very well. So we'll surprise her...just hope she's in :fingers crossed:.

Hubs and I will will have lunch out too.

We went to the GC yesterday but they didn't have any Bacopa at all , instead I bought some white Lobelia but I'm not sure if it's trailing :noidea:. Never mind I've added it to some hanging baskets so ...:fingers crossed:.

                        Have a lovely day everyone.:)

                          Morning all.

The rain has left us and it is bright and sunny and will be all day.

No visitations in the night but when J opened the kitchen door at 8am he saw a Van-like butt rushing down the garden pat. It wasn't Van as he was sitting upright on the bed looking toward the window, as was Munchkin. Both are out now investigating.

Nothing special planned, just moseying about.

                          Enjoy your outing Upsy.

No as to the cat flap. It is in the screen door and the door itself is closed at night. It is only Tom that has got up onto our bedroom windowsill, which makes me think s/he is tamer.

                              Enjoy! xx
