Ah 'tablets' @Upsydaisy ... you mean those gadjets you can hold in your hand. At first I thought of medication and got a bit confused :rolleyespink:
Anyway I'm glad you've got them sorted.
I think I'd find them too small and fiddly.

I bought another laptop in case one broke down again.

I'm sorry I'm not a very good chatter. Enjoy your day x

Morning all, Monday, 72 degrees here. 7:45Am. Threats of a big thunderstorm last night, did not seem to happen, can I have the weather person's salary. LOL.

Mimosa tree, yep, we have them around here in PA. @Victoria , I have admired them for years, they I heard they can make babies easily, so decided not to go with one.

Today is considered a holiday also, lots of stores will be closed due to July 4th. Did not have many firework noises last night. Maybe everyone is waiting for the actual 4th.

Did some "tree" pruning yesterday, taking some small limbs off crossing areas and wrong direction limbs. Probably have to get out my hand saw for a few larger ones.

Nothing major planned today. Certainly will find something to clean, organize or toss.
      Have a good day all.

            Good day
It is 69f 19c and feels much warmer as we have over 90% humidity. We are promised another dump of rain today. I don't remember such a wet start to summer as this has been since maybe back in the early 80's.

A lovely crowd here today :dbgrtmb:

I keep a tablet at the kitchen table as that is where I watch television in the evenings and when I want to look up something, it is handy. Mine is over 9 years old and certainly no powerhouse but it does what I need. A bit of searching and three of the tabs are various weather sites and yes, they need clearing out on a regular basis.

Being as how it is raining again, I think I'll do a little sewing, and a little cooking. It is a low rate day for electricity because of our Canada Day happening this last Saturday and doing any indoor cooking now, makes sense.

            Cheers :coffee:

                      Things I love about Summer.....

Watching the birds in and around our garden caring and rearing their brood with never-ending flights into our garden collecting beakfuls of.....yummy ...looking wriggling grubs.

                      Good morning everyone.:)

Today is the day we've been waiting on for the last couple of months.....proper rain, not silly no good for nothing drizzle but real proper wet rain!! The splish splash splosh sort.
We're really hoping our forecast doesn't change yet again and leave us pondering on yet another case of the mysteriously vanishing rain. :fingers crossed::fingers crossed:

We have nothing planned as we are pining our hopes on a steady rainfall but if it turns out dry then we'll walk over to visit my older sister.

I have also got to attempt trying again at booking some cinema seats for 2 friends and myself for this Thursday. I kept trying yesterday but their site was down, so :fingers crossed: again.

Whatever the weather enjoy your day.
                      :spinning:

Oh dear ! I hope I haven't thrown a spanner into the works with my short comment

We have rain here @Upsydaisy, but it's dry rain - hasn't made any difference to the ground at all.
Enjoy whatever unfolds for you today x

Morning Michael, most definitely not!!. No spanners laying around here at all. Just a lot of fun and friendly banter.

We're supposed to rain today too but currently we have a lovely sunny morning with not a grey cloud in sight.
I agree it'll take a lot of rain to make a difference to the ground...we have concrete here!!

You enjoy your day too and I hope Bella is well too.x:cat-kittyandsmiley:

Adenium. These are the trees I have been collecting as Bonsai for the past year. I have a little Nursery* on the Front of House Patio. I have three large ones blooming and 9 less than year old babies plus I am doing three varieties from seed, they germinate in 3-5 days usually. They are a challenge.

Morning all. It was a windy night and we will go to the mid 30s again. We cab spend the afternoon in The Baffa in the a/c looking out at the orange groves or garden.

Nothing going on here that I know of. I will tend to my Nursery and J will water the big pots between 10-11am. May report another Brugmansia if J can move the pots for me

Hope you get your rain Upsy and Lori and Red you can breathe with the smoke. Portugal got covered with it the other day.

                            Nice to see you Michael.

                              Morning Vicky

I have heard that it's quite a skilled job growing Bonsia Trees so well done :love30:

Years back one of my 'Dads' ( of a child I had on my care register) who was a Brazilian had a fabulous collection....he offered to teach me how to grow and train them but back then I was too busy and my interest wasn't at the same level as it is today.

Still sunny here ,on running the animation of the predicted weather pattern for today it looks like the majority of the rain will miss us but we just might catch a splash or two later in the day...I really hope it's wrong and that we get a good downpour.:fingers crossed:

Keep cool and have a great day xx
