The thing here with the bears is someone will report seeing one in their back yard. And I respond that they need to be relocated. They don't want to do that. So you wonder, what if a toddler were there etc. And another is sometime a cub will be killed on the roadway, so sad, but again, lets relocate them. And what kind of driver does not see a cub on the street. SMH

We’ve woken to cold weather this morning, as well as a change in our clocks.

Dove, the flooding is widespread, but thankfully, our river is well below our paddocks and house. Steephill, I add my sympathies. It’s very hard to get used to such things.

A very good morning one and all. True to form it is persisting down with rain again. Will I get some time in the garden today? Its not looking promising. I did get some seeds sown yesterday and got the seed trays onto the heated trough on the windowsill though, so maybe some more sowing indoors today

Good morning @Ladybird4 and other early morning risers.

Harsh winds overnight, but pleasantly tranquil at the moment, even the sun is out and looking splendid. I know it won't last though. Got 3 lots of washing to put on the line, just hoping they stay on the line. The wind will no doubt help with the ironing, always a silver lining somewhere.

It would be good if you manage to get your washing dried @Jenny_Aster. Fingers crossed here for you. It seems like Storm Kathleen is wreaking havoc further north than we are.

Good morning all. Today is the last day of Easter break, and tomorrow we are back to school. Last few days we have beautiful weather, and I spent most of the time at cottage planting and sowing. I hope I'll rest today. Hope you are all well and wish you lovely Sunday!

Good morning @Ante1. Your work at the cottage will reward you later on this growing season. How are all your fruit trees doing? You have a good Sunday too.

Morning @Ladybird4. Fruit trees are very well this year. It was extremely mild winter, without serious snow or coldness. Pear and cherry trees are in flower just right now, and we will wait a bit more for apples.

                            I took those pictures yesterday.

                                Good morning all.
It was brilliantly sunny when I got up an hour ago but now it’s raining.
I did have quite a lot of gardening time yesterday, although it was blowing a hoolie, so I feel i’ve finally started to get the garden into shape.
Lots of weeding done but still plenty to do.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
