Thanks yes he's fine ,he can't remember any of it so not traumatised by all the long waits.

I didn't use that phrase lightly as I always had great admiration for our NHS.... but sadly it's now a shadow of it's former self .I really can't see it ever recapturing it's standards of yester year.

What a lovely day it is. !!

My delivery of Perlite came yesterday so we're off out into town for lunch and a few bits of grocery shopping. We would've gone to Salisbury but didn't fancy carting shopping around and having bags on our laps for the longer bus journey.

I don't mind where we go as it will be nice to be out in the sunshine for the day.:SUNsmile:

        Have a super day yourselves.

The sun is up and the sky is blue.

J is doing a bit of grocery shopping today. I am going to try out my balance thingy but will look up specific exercises first that suit my situation, ie, I will not attempt to stand on it with one foot straight away as I can't do that on the floor!

          Enjoy your outing Upsy.

You go careful now, and please ,please don't attempt it until J is at home with you.

Let us know how you get on, it has the potential for being really beneficial for you.:fingers crossed:

I used the bed footboard (well, it is a wrought Iron Frame) as support. It is wobbly for sure ... similar to the things I had to walk on (4 of them in a row with something to step over in between) between two rails at Hospital Physio. I have just ordered a second one so I can stand with legs further apart. It is coming Monday. I also had to sit on a big ball there and do various movements. I do have one of those here here.

i had an hour in front in the sun. Hope you have a sunny warm outing. xx

                Good day
It is warm, 36f 2c and we're still under a cloud. I sure hope the guessers aren't going to change their minds about the coming sunny days!

I'm glad to hear your brother doesn't remember all the traumatic things that happened to him @Upsydaisy. Maybe that is the one good thing you can count on with his brain not working very well. If he only remembered the bad, that would be sad.

@Victoria I guess in the future, we'll all have to remember to treat you with respect because you'll have massive balls!

Em is at school for the morning. They get their exam results this morning. I'll need to visit the bank and get some cash. I plan to give her various denominations based on her final marks for each subject. She is not expecting anything but a pat on the back so that will be fun.

I need to return a couple of items to the shop. I had stupidly ordered what I thought was a red salt shaker and pepper grinder but it turns out it was only shakers. No grinder.

And it is my last day to review my course before the exam. So off I go!

                Cheers:coffee:

Funnily I have been looking for new S&P shakers, I would like blue glass.

                  :fingers crossed: to you Lori.

It was interesting, there were 8 teams, each team had 4 people on it. They had 5 sets of questions, each set was 10 questions each, one of the sets was to identify the name by looking at a picture of a person. So you kept track with a score sheet. There was the leader who passed those out etc. Then added up the correct points at the bottom of each set. My team did win one set. All of it actually lasted only one hour. My team members are from the chess club. Seemed everyone had a good time. Will do it again. Thanks for asking.

                        Thursday. 9:30Am. 35 degrees here.
Got our septic tank cleaned out this morning, LOL. needed a new cement cap. just fly out money fly out. But that's done for 3 years, and all is well with it.
Out in the garden yesterday picking up limbs, branches, more to do. Found a dead deer in neighbors woods, can see it easily from my garden. Just wondering why the vultures are not all about it, not up in the trees etc. Then found a dead half eaten possum, hope something continues to eat it up, will deal with that later.

Husband brought home the "cribs" for Sasha, the car, they are to elevate the car in shows. scary to have to jack it up etc. He's working on finishing pretty the bottom belly of the car, its pretty now, but not perfectly pretty. I believe our first show will be in August, but not elevated.

Back to more taxes stuff, and maybe garden walk about for more sticks etc. If its dry enough might move some leaves. Or if I feel like it. I swear when your a toddler your given X amount of energy, and you use it all up by the time you turn 70. Onward. Have a grand day all.

Had a lovely day out yesterday, it was wall to wall sunshine all day long..didn't take my sunglasses off at all !!
Enjoyed a great meal ,browsed around a few shops and bought myself some new headphones. We also had an amble through the larger of the City Central parks...very Spring like indeed.

Shame about today as it's the complete opposite ,the only thing in it's favour is that it's dry and very mild.

Plan is for more garden clean up today ......must be all shipshape for Springtime.:dbgrtmb:

                          Have a fabulous Friday everybody.

I may have said previously, but on a Friday/Saturday folk greet each other with Boa/Bom fim Semana /fim de Semana ... Good End of the Week! You hear this everywhere, to friends, to shopkeepers/checkout folk. to your Doctor/Dentist ... to whomever you encounter today.

J meeting John (and Mike I guess) for lunch then he goes to sell someone a Drum Throne/Seat in Messines. Then Fim Semana begins here.
