Yawn Yawn Wakey Wakey 2024

I was pottering about in the garage (still got boxes of stuff, as yet, to be unpacked) and the rain and hail came down.
My wife got soaked bringing me my cagoule, so I wouldn't get wet on my return. By the time I'd finished, so had the rain.

Just had a visit from the previous owner, who wanted to see around "her" garden. Lovely to find out we have two apple trees, and one each of plum, damson and peach.

Woohoo!!

 

Snow @Punkdoc! We had a night of heavy rain and hail, but Snow! Goodness me what is this weather coming to?
I have just followed your FB entry ............ oh absolutely brilliant. Sad person that I am, I found myself singing along to the chorus at the top of my voice (using the original words from the 'you're gorgeous' song and one or two of the verse words as my memory flooded back in). What fun and a good laugh, still giggling now. Told you that I was sad but I dont care, so thank you for that little bit of madness.

Hmm thunder and lightning now

 

Same here Dovefromabove, we have had a tiny bit of sun, hail stones, rain and now thunder. 6 degrees this morning. I am in now, far too cold!

 

And now hail out of one window and blue sky and sunshine out of the other …

I'm glad I got a decent gardening session in yesterday. It's much cooler today - down into single figures celsius, the wind is cold, and we've had several really heavy showers. Sunny in between but still cold.

 

Same here, rain, wind, hail, followed by clear skies and sunshine. 5 mins later, and it's back to the rain etc!
Not seen a 'normal' April like this for a few years!

 

They’ve arrived … thanks. Am doing my best to keep them here with Duct tape and Copydex

 

Had to look that word up. saw the picture. never knew it had that name. Interesting.

If and when we sell our home and garden, I am sure, unless its a master gardener I will have to go back to tell the new person what is planted where, and how to take care of all of it. Hoping to only sell it to a true gardener.
