    Good day
It is warm, 41f 4.5c and looks like it will be sunny,

That will be wonderful for the drive today.

@Flumpy I've tried several times now to make a picture appear but it won't - a swiffer refill - essentially a duster that the slides onto a plastic handle and you toss after use. So bad for the environment which is why making washable ones is the way to go.

@Upsydaisy a tailor's ham is something you use when pressing areas like shoulders or any other roundy part of clothing. I've got one cut out and I think I'll make a second one that will be like a tube. The wood shavings are rammed into the cases to make a stiff shape. Kinda like the way they used to stuff teddy bears when I was a kid.

I'm also going to make some cleaning cloths for Emily's clarinet so she can use a newly washed one each time. It is a rectangle of flannelette with a long tail which is used to pull the rectangle down through the body of the instrument. I was like a little kid watching a magic show last night while I was watching her assemble the clarinet. Absolutely fantastic!!!!

Emily's first semester report card arrived via email and she did very very well. So I added up the total marks and used that total to calculate the amount she is going to find in her bank account when she gets up

We head down to her mother's place mid morning so that she can visit her little half-brother. I do not go in so I'll then carry on driving and run across the border to quickly pick up a delivery and then come back for her. Her mother lives about 20 minutes from the border which makes this an efficient trip as far as petrol goes.

We'll make a few stops on the way back to have a little more fun together.

    Cheers all :coffee:

That is it exactly! Thanks @Upsydaisy :)

They do a good job but oh my, what a waste. I also have the long handled one for doing overhead fan blades and the tops of picture and door frames.

We have a fairly good ( ish ) day ahead just the odd bit of rain here and there. That's fine by me as I have a few tasks to do indoors today so I will get them done during the showers.

So excited One Love has been released over here and I've booked the tickets for a friend and I to see it on Wednesday. :hapydancsmil:I've been eagerly waiting to see this for what seems like ages . I was and still am a big fan of the brilliant Bob Marley and his music. His death was so sad he was such a talented artist. Fortunately for the world many of his children and even grandchildren have followed in his footsteps and made careers for themselves in the music industry. His wife, and two of his children ( a son and a daughter) are producers of the film.

Something to look forward too during what looks to be a pretty damp week ahead.

              Have an enjoyable Sunday.

Here you go Flumpy I had it ready to post on another thread. He so wanted peace in the world, as we all do, and tried to inspire others to aim for it too. Word has it that they wanted the tour to go ahead to get his words of peace out there that it stopped him from getting the medical help that could've saved his life. He refused amputation of his foot so that he could carry on performing.

                    Morning Upsy and Karen.

It is drizzly out but I see it brightening on the horizon and we should have a sunny day.

Being a Sunday nothing planned here. I have asked J to look up that French film Upsy.

J loves the guitar Karen. It is pristine. But, like all the others, they are not for him but to sell on. He paid nearly 3,000 Euros but should get over 5,000 for it.

That's it for now folk, have a good one.

The German one was good too, based on a true story...and sadly the incompetence of the police investigation....not much has changed to this day!!

                          Good day,
It is cloudy and mild 32f 0c and still.

I had a good drive yesterday. And I must have picked just the right moment to arrive at the border and the same coming home as I was all by myself at security. No one in front of me or behind. Even with my Nexus and using the Whirlpool Crossing, it seemed eerie:hate-shocked:

Em had a good visit with her little half brother while I was going across and back. We picked up her cork grease at a music shop on the way home. And after we got home, I finished making the cleaning rags for her clarinet. These are squares of flannelette with a long tail.

I've got some potting on of geraniums to do while I watch my show. And of course some laundry.

Cheers all :coffee: ... and Don't Worry, Be Happy

Sunday morning, 45 degrees, over cast.
Getting some dough started soon, a sweet roll dough, have not decided yet what to roll into it have enough stuff about to do some surprise.
Hopefully my internal clock will work for the raising of it, as I get outside again for more leaf removal, and gathering all the branches in various places with wheel barrel for the burn pile.
Husband said yesterday, lets go out to the Chinese restaurant for some late lunch today. He likes the one that they cook the food in front of you on the grill. Frankly could care less either way, that means I have to get fixed up, and after all day gardening could care less.
                              Then there is Super bowl.
Seems like there are some nice guests in our Airbnb for this week, they brought their boat so they can dock it at our dock . Good fishing there.
                              Ok, later.
