@Ladybird4 - I never got around to sending my snotty email to Hayloft but they got in touch anyway to check all was ok. I told them it wasn't really - but I accepted that they'd fulfilled their contract - just not to my satisfaction.
Rather than asking for a refund I just said that I would think twice before ordering from them again. They immediately refunded the money. So it's sorted, but the plants I received are very poor value compared with others bought at the same time. On the other hand the other plants in the order are doing fine and they had the exact plants I wanted when nobody else did. Swings and roundabouts...

it’s tip day for Hubby today. It’ll be good to get rid of the bags of rubbish that have been collecting around the place.

Saturday morning and I'm preparing for school. It's cloudy outside, and it might rain, so I feel little bit better because in any case, outside work is not possible. Pets are all fed, and now is my turn for cup of tea. Wish you all a nice day, and hope you have better weather.

@PatE, I think your rain got its directions muddled up!
@Topbird, take care of yourself over the next couple of days and try and shake that awful cold off. Mine is only just letting go - and it started on Maundy Thursday. I'll check emails later to see if there has been any response from Hayloft but I will most definitely not be using them again.

A bright sunny morning here in Norfolk … 8C and rising … it looks as if yesterday’s weather was just a blip and things are set to improve.

I was planning a lie in but I had an early txt from Dad so stayed up. I’ve put wash on as I’ve been ‘promised’ a dry and sunny day.

Just deciding whether to do a SM run now , before the Saturday masses… one more coffee I think…

@AuntyRach I've got my fingers crossed for you to have a dry day - no such luck here! I always think an 'early doors' dash to the SM is the best of ideas but I do tend to hold back on Saturdays. I don't think I'm giving away secrets but Luco is a gorgeous cat.

 

I always laugh at my MIL who goes to SM on a Saturday lunchtime every week (literally the busiest time) and comments how busy it is.

Breaking news… my Lupin flower bud has been munched!!!
It’s been nestled on my back porch, surrounded by mint plants and with a water moat (tray of water) and still munched!! Gutted.
