      Good morning @Dovefromabove
It's about 7°C here too in north Kent. Promise of another reasonable day.
Had BIL visit yesterday, so really didn't get anything done in the garden. That's going to be different today.
Lawn needs cutting. It's growing so quickly!!

Good morning all. Gorgeous morning here sun is shining and I have a trip to garden centre today as it’s time to plant up hanging baskets and pots. A whole day in the garden beckons! What fun.

Morning all - lovely day here. Might find some time to sit outside with a coffee later.

Feeling very tired as this horrid cough doesn't give me more than an hour of sleep at a time but, apart from that, I'm feeling much better.

@steephill - I'm glad yesterday went well. I rather like the idea of 'Doing a Bowie' myself so I'm pleased to hear you thought it was less stressful than the traditional funeral way.

Lots of little jobs to do today - best crack on.

                        Good morning all!!

You have all been so busy in the garden!! I am still weeding - an on-going necessity. The salt and vinegar does work @Busy-Lizzie on the surface. I also have a weed burner for this pesky ones which is good too. The big stuff I pull up by hand.

Love the photos @Ante1 We have sage in flower here too. What are you going to do with your flowers? Love to know!!

Grey skies here with some peeps from the sun now and again. It is mild. This is the time of year when the Mediterranean garden is at its best. The roses are beautiful. By July, everything gets parched but it's great for growing summer vegetables!!

To all the Judiths on this site. Today is for you.

Morning everybody, gone back to grey and cloudy but sunshine is promised for later so fingers crossed. Didn't sleep well, so late getting going so just having a coffee and planning what to do today. One more compost bin to empty, plants to move and seeds to sow I think.

Enjoy your NGS garden @Busy-Lizzie, annoyingly we missed one in the village a few weeks ago so must remember to check online.

Glad the celebration of life went well @steephill. We did the same a few weeks ago for my late brother, whatever you do it's always a difficult but necessary part of life.

I've got lots of weeding to do as well @Tui34, an ongoing job in this large garden.

OH is enjoying his canal boat trip with his mates and was awarded the chance to be helmsman to take the boat through a very long tunnel yesterday. I'd have hated it!

Oh well, I'd better crack on .

Morning all. No sun as my alarm clock today unfortunately.

I wonder if celebrations of life will replace traditional funerals more and more now @steephill. I much prefer that idea. Thoughts to you and your family.

It’s cloudy here, with rain possible, but mild enough for some outside potterings.

                            Have a lovely Sunday all.

Just in from the garden for a coffee …

best thoughts to Mr & Mrs @steephill

several friends have followed Bowie’s lead and it’s the path I would prefer to take when the time comes.

Ive been chopping things back ... I’ve given the rosemary a short back and sides and pulled up some of the culinary sage that had gone rampant. This afternoon I'll chop back the salvia greggi in the front and have a general tidy and OH will cut the front grass. I'm also going to sow some chard and cos lettuce and start to get a spot ready for the runner beans. The broad beans have pods on them!

it’s earlier than I would usually cut the S gregii back but we’re going away for several days at the end of the week and I need to get a move on.
I’m hardening off the runner beans and may even plant them out then wrap the teepee with fleece before we go … it depends on the forecast …
