Best wishes @Allotment Boy. My GP very kindly gave me some Diazamine when I had to have 3 crowns fitted at the dentist last year. Just 4 pills though so can't give you any unfortunately.

Not done an awful lot today, OH fetched the paper as the cleaners were here then I pottered about in the garden, had to cut down a few branches of a Claire Austin rose which had been battered by the wind/rain. I now have a lovely bouquet of just blooming/in bud roses. After lunch I dug a hole for a wooden post to brace a wonky/loose rose arch upright and will have to make a quick dash to B&Q for some Postcrete tomorrow.

@Punkdoc, just a thought, if your GP can't or won't help, do you have a friendly pharmacist who could talk you through likely withdrawal symptoms of particular meds? Forewarned is forearmed I always feel. Don't worry at all about offloading what you're feeling onto here, it's a good community to be part of as I found out last year.

Hope you feel better soon @floralies .

@Goldenlily26 , shame about the chickens but that's part of country life - or indeed town life these days. We have a fox nearby who regularly comes into this garden - I once met it face to face round the corner of the house, much to both our shock. Hope your wee doggie is ok.

            Good morning all :coffee1:
I hope everyone’s had a restful night despite the wind and rain. I have to drive down to Suffolk today … let’s hope there’s no floods.
            :fingers crossed:

Good morning everyone. I only realised - too late - that I didn't sign off last night but I was engrossed in the International T20 - excellent stuff. I can see I have a lot to catch up on. First of all can I say @Punkdoc, there is absolutely no need whatsoever to feel you need to ask forgiveness. I have found that sharing tough experiences with a group of lovely 'virtual friends' is a very cathartic activity and it has certainly helped me through black moments. I feel that @Topbird's suggestion is such a positive thing to do. Offload anytime you like. A problem shared and all that!

                    Good Morning all.

Day off but I’ve been up since 5:30 as my Dad messaged me (don’t ask). Positive spin - I have enjoyed some cuppas outside this fine morning, and the washing is on.

Take care everyone, particularly those having a hard time, health stuff or life wobbles.

                      Morning all.
Another very blustery day. I hate wind, especially at this time of year. I am streaming with hayfever.
The washing machine is on, didn't do much yesterday. I am still in recovery from my rescue mission. Made a rhubarb crumble with ginger and a bowl of tabullah for dinner.
Rob seems OK after his adventure. He was a bit stiff in his hips but not enough to dampen his appetite.
Keeping chickens free range around here really is asking for trouble. Once the fox knows where they are they just keep coming back for more tasty dinners. Even keeping the birds in a run is no guarantee they will be safe.
We have so much wildlife around here, foxes, badgers, deer, stoats and weasels, buzzards, lizards, even the mysterious large black cat creature seen by some people. I am surprised we mere mortals manage to survive alongside them.

                        Morning all,
Very blustery here, too, but at least it’s dry which means I’ve been able to get some of the curtains on the line to dry. We are just about straight in the kitchen apart from the curtains and a few other small bits to sort, oh, and of course the table to fix. The company we contacted can fix the leg, but got back to us to say they are closed for holidays from tomorrow until 10th June. So we either have to try to find somewhere else, or hang on. Things are never straightforward are they?

Morning all. Back home after our holiday in Croatia and a couple of days in hospital via A&E. First thing we saw after opening the curtains this morning was a very pregnant roe doe lying on the lawn. You could see her kid(s) moving in her abdomen so she will be given birth very soon.

Thank goodness for that @Allotment Boy, an injection in the eye sounds really unpleasant.

I hope you enjoyed Croatia, @steephill, despite the hospital trip. Is the deer still on your lawn?

We went to the weekly market. OH bought me a handbag and I bought some runner beans as there weren't any in the SM.
