I am going to sign out now. Another shift of programmes has left me confused (that is quite easy these days!) I was waiting for The Great British Sewing Bee last night and its on tonight instead.

Well I don't believe it! All day it has been dank and drizzly and now the sun has decided to break through! Typical! Hope you all have pleasant evenings and I will catch you all tomorrow.

        Been an exciting day

Got dogs to wear out first.

                Morning all.

                Sunny but windy outside.

OH is up and talking about voting. I'm still lounging in bed drinking coffee. Bad knee is my excuse.

Although I am now allowed to vote at last, law changed about ex-pats, I won't be voting. The online form was complicated and I had to have proof of where I was living before I went to France in 1985. I've moved 3 times since that house and the paperwork is probably in a box in the loft.

I've been painting my kitchen having decided, after such a long, cold, grey winer, that it needed sunnier colours. i'm a bit cross with Macron calling an election before I got around to applying for citizenshp so I can vote here. Not interested in voting in the UK as I don't live there.

Yesterday I gardened in the pm while the paint dried but today I have a committee meeting in Les Sables at the Thalasso hotel which has a smart, sunny terrace tho I expect it'll be a tad windy today. OH says he's having a quiet and clean pm in my absence.

Have a lovely day everyone, whatever you're doing.

You can't beat lovely sunny colours. It's important for your wellbeing to feel cheered up. I can't be doing with the current trend for GREY (even the name is depressing). I love mid-green shades for kitchens, with a touch of yellow and blue

                      Afternoon folks.

I don’t know why but I feel tired today. This may result in missing some tennis if I get too comfy on the sofa.
I’m just having some tea and apple pie cookies - crumbs they are good!

                      Take care everyone.

I went to vote late morning, after searching frantically for my building society passbook, to make a deposit. My wife found it - in the pocket of the jacket I wore when I made the last deposit.
                        Sigh!!

Good afternoon all. Got rid of all of my sorted stuff - half going to the Ukraine and the other half to the Sue Ryder shop near where my Bestie lives. We then just had an amble through the big stores at this little retail park and I raced to the rescue of two pots of Gentiana scabra, looking very sorry for themselves and at £2 a pot how could I resist? With a little bit of TLC I think these can be saved. The wind is blowing a hoolie here but, plus point, its not raining now.
Like @Bluejayway, I used my postal vote about 2 weeks ago.
