    Good morning :)

A tad on the nippy side morning it is too.Brrr!!

Hardly any snow left from yesterday ,just a light dusting here and there.

I doubt that we'll be venturing far today as it's a bit icy and slippery underfoot .....something I really can't cope with now.

I have my jigsaw puzzle, knitting, library book and seed stash to keep me occupied ...oh..and the kitchen floor to wash.
Just waiting half an hour before braving it to hang out 2 loads of laundry.

Spoke with our youngest yesterday he was just hopping on a plane to Salvador ... still enjoying temps in the 30s although there had been a fair bit of rain where he was.

Apart from all that it's a day for keeping snug today.

    Have a good one.

Good Morninh Tabby in Cup.jpeg I am still resorting to old saved greetings.

Had a few showers last evening and it is lightly grey this morning so we may have a bit more. Van was in his treehouse when the showers started so came in for dinner soaked. He is still sitting on me daily, yesterday afternoon he fell asleep for two hours then again after his dinner for two hours!!! I said to J I can't bear to move him as it has been so long. :cat-kittyandsmiley:

I have chosen a Scooter from Amazon ...

      https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/product/B0BG3D18KW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A2ROMQAUQ6D83Z&psc=1

However J saw one on his Facebook at A de Pera (where the Chinese we go to) for 500 Euros so he contacted but has not had a reply.

      Have a good day all.

I don't plan on going on a road here (that would be suicide) only beach boardwalks, shopping centers, garden centers, restaurants etc.

          Morning Vicky.

Oh that's good, you'll really enjoy having one and have more of an option to go places if you feel up to it....you'll regain your ability to choose...which is always good.:) :dbgrtmb:

To be honest Vicky I've never seen one used on a road here...you'd have to be out of your mind to even consider it imo. Just thought yes I've seen them used up and down our lane...but then we don't have any pavements.....or traffic.

Have a super day, love to you both .xx

:hate-shocked: You will have boards to bring off the line! We have a three tier collapsible airer which either goes up in the kitchen, Baffa or in front of the fireplace, depending on J's mood and how much it is raining. Best you don't go out ice skating. :nonofinger:

I had to take our a it of my crochet scarf yesterday as I made a booboo so will go back to that later.

You guys have a pleasant day too.

Yes we have 3 airers too ,bought for the boys when they went off to Uni.....and then seemingly donated to us when they finished !:heehee:.

The laundry will stay out until around 4 then hung on the airers with our large dehumidifier left on overnight, should be completely dry by the following morning. We also have cheap rate electricity overnight too, so much more economical and less time consuming that using the tumble dryer in the garage.

I went out very cautiously, luckily the lines are along a shingled pathway so quite grippy underfoot. It's more our main patio that makes me anxious as it's quite mossy in places and can be slippery at the best of times....so I will avoid walking across it for the time being.:blue thumb:

Aww that's so annoying when you discover a mistake and then have to unpick.....was it easily corrected ?? I hope so.:fingers crossed:

Van is becoming a real Mummy 's boy, how lovely for you both, there's nothing more relaxing imo than sitting stroking a purring cat. Bliss.:cat-kittyandsmiley:

Tuesday, 8Am. gray skies now, 34 degrees. I am getting over a quick cold right now. Good old Vicks and anything else I can throw at it.
Found a good deal on bird suit, picked up 14 cakes, so all good for the winter now.
Donating my cat food to a local charity animal rescue place.
Back to paper work/taxes etc. and house stuff. Have a good day all.

                  Good morning everybody :)

We had a lovely day yesterday with lots of sunshine and it looks like we're in for the same again today.

All laundry was dried before we left home at 2 pm to go out for the afternoon to visit my sister.

I will try to contact my brother today with either a phone or video call but I doubt he will pick up.

No set plans really for today, tomorrow I'm off to the cinema with a friend.

                  Have a nice day.

                    A fine day ahead here.

All quiet on the Southern front so nothing to report at the moment.

                    Enjoy your day.

                        Good morning everyone.

We currently have a very frosty morning here today. On the plus side we should enjoy a slightly milder day though.:fingers crossed:

I'm off into town later this morning to meet with a friend for a coffee before we head to the cinema to see Ferrari.

                        Looking forward to it.:)

                        Have a fab day yourselves.

Morning all. Must look for a theme.

J had Dentist at 11.30am I think for a fitting of the plate. I then have Neuro appointment at 5.30pm. Both at the same Clinic in Guia so J has two trips to make, but hey ho it is only about 20 minutes.

We watched the four part programme on Mr Bates v The Post Office yesterday. A shoking state of affairs!

                          Enjoy your outing Upsy.

Morning all. Thursday, 42 degrees here. Almost Noon.
We have tickets for a comedy ventriloquist show in Philly tonight. But, thinking about it, LOL. when is a ventriloquist not funny. Anyway, an hour drive there later. Weather looks good for the drive etc.
Back to whatever in the house too wet outside for any garden stuff.
                              Have a grand day all.

Hello @Jenny namaste , lovely to have you join us on this thread.

Yes I applaud the production crew for putting together this programme. I for one ,although I knew of this awful issue, gained a much informed understanding of the horrific pressure and ruined lives that were endured by all the innocent postal masters/ mistresses

Without the airing of this much needed programme I very doubt much would've changed.

                                Well done ITV.
