    Good morning everyone.

Temps are a tad 'warmer' today...before they take a tumble for the coming week ahead.
Still have some snow laying in sheltered spots around the garden and the remaining water in the lane is now iced over in places too. So have to be on high alert when out and about.

Film was surprisingly good, I'm most definitely not a motor sport fan and know nothing about it ,although I do know the names of the most prominent/ influential people that have hit the headlines in this field.
So I must admit I went to see this movie in a not very enthusiastic frame of mind....but ended up thoroughly enjoying it. It touched on all areas of his life during the particular time frame of 1957. The cars, the tragic race accident that occurred that year, his grief over personal tragedies, his marriage, his mistress and illegitimate son who he had both kept a secret. The struggle to keep the Ferrari company going , the deal his wife was prepared to strike with him to help keep it going, despite chucking him out of the house after learning about the affair/ son. Sadly they had lost their only child ( a son) and her deal depended on the illegitimate son never being given the surname of Ferrari while she was alive. He did however in later years and took on ( and still has) an active role within the Ferrari Company.

Being such a different film choice made it so enjoyable in the end......a lesson learnt to broaden my choices more often. :dbgrtmb:

    No plans for today yet.

    Enjoy yours.

It is another end to the week friends.

My visit with Dr Beuno the Neuro went well last evening. I had to walk unaided (very bad he said) he checked my eyes for lazy eyes (no problems), he said as my blood was normal I have no deficencies. my speech is clear and I answered correctly the ample questions, he has no medical idea of my lack of balance except it is caused by the mini strokes and brain bleed but there are no pills to correct this. He renewed the statin 20mg and slow release aspirin Rx and told me to continue exercising and go back in six months.

J off to lunch with John today.

      Have a good one.

        Friday morning. almost 9Am.
Husband and I saw ---Jeff Dunham last night at Wells Fargo, in Philly, PA -- huge crowd, packed them in. HUGE. filled the space like to the gills. Good show. If any of you have Facebook go to his sight, he did a short thing--Facebook live, you can see the audience. Not that we can be seen but we were on the ground floor. Because we were in "special" seats, we got some goodie bags to take home.
Better weather today, but still to wet to get back to the leaves.

        Hello @Jenny namaste , welcome.

Will make my way to the animal rescue farm to deliver the last of my cat's food things as a donation. Its still strange to not have any fur babies to attend to anymore. But, we need a break.
        Take care all.

Good morning everyone, how are things with you?

That ,on the whole, was all very good news Vicky, just somehow need to get answers on your balance issues. Has he or physio given you balance strengthening exercises to do?

Hope all went well for J at the Dentist too.:dbgrtmb:

I'm going through a flare up ,this cold weather is really playing on my joints, so very painful at the moment. Couldn't face a walk yesterday so really must grit my teeth and have one today....not looking forward to it at all.

Need to have a hobble around the garden too at some point...It's looking a tad untidy in places.

          Enjoy your day .

            Good Morning New.jpeg

Sorry you are suffering with the weather Upsy. We are the other way round and warmer than normal ... and mat get that much-needed rain this coming week. I sure hope so.

I have all the balancing exercises but my brain has a mind of its own. As I said to Dr B, I can stand and swinging my arms all over and stay stand firmly ... but as soon as I start to move forward I have to hold onto something so as not to fall! N'er mind, I will persevere and if I have to use the walker, so I will.

J's appointment was just for plate fittiing.

Joaquim & Co are here stacking wood on the side of the house. Van ran in and is hiding under the bed! Joaquim is the husband of Isobel our hairdresser.

Nothing planned for the weekend, some movies and hopefully watching the rain.

Saturday morning, 9AM. Rained again all last night.
So continues my usual stuff for the weekend, indoor stuff. Taxes, tossing, cleaning etc.

I do subscribe to Netflix and Peacock for my "movie" selections @Upsydaisy . The closest movie theater to me is a good 20 mins drive. So with my lounge chair, feet up, I am watching something at 8PM, then to bed at 9PM.

We got some new guests at our Airbnb last night, they came in late, had the landscaper turn on the outside light for them. Have to organize a motion detector one, but that probably would not work from the street. Or just continue to have the cleaners /landscaper click it on from now on. The guests did not get there till about 9PM. Oh, well.

Ok, then you all have a grand day. Be safe.

Morning everyone, hope you're all having a great weekend.:)

We're just having a pretty chilled one with no specific plans.
I'm desperately trying to overcome storage issues on both of my Tablets...on my own . I want to see if I can successfully overcome the issues without any help just so as to prove to myself that I can do it and then boast for evermore about how clever I am to hubs and brood.:roflol:
For now though it's still very much ' work in progress ' so...:fingers crossed::fingers crossed:

Our temps are taking a tumble overnight this week , I think I may have even spotted a -5C on our forecast somewhere.:yikes:.

Nothing else to share ,for the time being we are just living the quiet life. The only excitement will be when I see my storage gauges go up.:heehee:

                Have fun.

Ah, meant to say Van has a new, and odd, sleeping place ... the edge of the bathtub in the corner against the wall and tall unit! He goes there the moment we leave the lounge and stays there all night until brekkies!!!

Morning Karen, what a lovely view! I have just come in from sitting outside in the sun for 45 minutes and taking a few photos I'll put up in What's Looking Good and start my January Algarve Garden.

Have a nice relaxing day building up your strength to get through the week. Sendung hugs, Vxx

Flumpy we dip to -5C tomorrow night and for some reason it's only our area that seems to be getting the chill.
The difference is everyone expects colder temps up your way and tend to think we get off lightly ...but sadly we never do...fingers crossed the cold dip that is due to skim us here on the south coast will drift a bit towards France. :fingers crossed:

Sunday morning. 34 degrees here, snowing a little. Got out just in time to fill bird feeders and suet containers so the birds are happy.
Just noticed a huge tree limb had broken off on the road in front of my house, most sits on the other side, some bits in the road, seems someone cleared it off. Not sure "whos" tree its from, can't see that distance enough. Anyway, there are about 4 younger men about me who love to chain saw stuff I am sure one of them will have a go at it, and enjoy burning it up.

Here is crazy, so at my airbnb I have cameras, and of course they notify us of movement, the current guests have been there since Friday, not once have they walked down the wooded pathway to investigate the river. That's usually the first thing folks do, run down there , sit by the river and enjoy. They have two young boys with them also, SMH.

Well back to some boring taxes, etc. cleaning etc. or nothing at all. Have a grand day.

                              Good morning everyone.

A tad on the chilly side here today.

Definitely a day for indoor tasks I think.

Storage retrieval is still on the main menu...one Tablet seems a lot perkier now after deleting I00's of emails dating back to 2011!! Next will be the downloads and photos....

I have made myself a promise of cleaning them out on a monthly basis from now on.

Hope you all have a gentle start to the new week.

An overcast day here but another warm day ahead.

Nothing planned here. Well, not for me, J hasn't spoken yet as he had overslept.

I try to keep my computer tidied. I got my old photos named ... all my photos are of the garden and flowers ... and occasional furries!

                                Enjoy your day.
