    Hi all

So far today we have had: sun, rain' hail and now it is trying to snow.
Don't think I will be doing much outdoors.
Hope everyone has a great w/e.

Oh that's scary. Good job you reacted quickly.

A friend, who's an A&E nurse was electrically trimming her hedge wearing slippers - you can guess the rest, it wasn't pretty! She's usually always careful, but just goes to show that we shouldn't take chances.

It's not just electrical tools that causes accidents, I read somewhere (written by an eye surgeon I think) to be careful with your eyes, it's easy enough to brush against, or even poke your eye with branches.

Hope the poor chap is ok … modern medicine is amazing. :imphrt:NHS

Electrical and power tools of all sorts must be handled very carefully. I once knew a chap who sliced up his inner thigh with a chain saw … it stopped just before it made an irrevocable change in his marriage!!! :yikes:
Always wear the right protective gear! :please:

PS His wife did say he should be thankful for small mercies!

Absolutely. He is an experienced tree surgeon ... He prunes hundreds of fruit trees, hence the need for electric secateurs.

Keep warm @Punkdoc … is there any sport that needs supervising? … I’ve not had a chance to check what the tv thinks we want to see yet …

          Good morning all.
A very mixed bag of weather today so it’s the dreaded housework and laundry that will get my attention. Enjoy your day :smile:

 Oh dear @Coccinella - ouch and ‘ek!

Still in PJs here. I’m looking out at my big, old apple tree and the sun is beaming down after a rain shower and the branches are twinkling like fairy lights. Really pretty.

Have a good day all - whether you are relaxing, gardening, socialising or anything else.

We are going to have a movie afternoon, will watch Killers of the Flower Moon, at 3.5 hours long we will need some breaks, shame we haven't got any ice cream.

                  Afternoon folks.
Even more blustery than yesterday, colder and more showery.
                  Safe journey @Jacquiscrap
You certainly know how to live well @Dovefromabove !
Best wishes to your Husband's friend @Coccinella
No sign of any of my hardy annual seeds germinating yet. It may have been a mistake to use seeds left over from last year. Oh well.. onwards and upwards ladies and gentlemen - better days lie ahead for all of us.

People that attend are given a raffle ticket. On a long table there are lots of objects/ prizes . Usually at the end of the event, the event manager will draw matching tickets from a "hat" and call out the number, if the number matches on your raffle ticket then you go up and choose from the table what you want.

Saturday, Morning all. 9:22AM here, started raining at about 3AM still raining. 42 degrees.
So lots of inside stuff for me. Laundry, continue to develop a marketing thing for our airbnb, paying bills, cleaning out drawers. I have to organize light weight clothes for the trip to N.C.
Also continue gathering more stuff to bring down. Yesterday got to Pottery Barn found nice pillow shams on sale, will have as a nice extra at the house there.

Tomorrow we drive up to Oaks, PA to a car show, about an hour drive. meet up with some friends. Lots of walking to do when there.

                        Take care all.
