@Ladybird4 , of course pets are all fed, and they are back t sleep. Nobody wish to go out. I only popped out just to refill bird feeders.

 

Not even Max @Ante1? Now I know it is serious. I ordered some more bird food yesterday - expecting it Monday. My food bin is virtually empty.

 

You must have some spying equipment in my house @Ladybird4, because I'm also expecting bird food delivery at Monday. Max decided that it's better to stay near log burner.

 

Now that is a very sensible dog you have there @Ante1

 

Morning All, Sun has been out for an hour or so down our way. If the weather forecast can be believed tonight is going to be the coldest one for quite a few weeks, after that it looks to be a little warmer thank goodness.

Didn't get much of a sleep last night (hubby's not faring too well). Still I have always been an early bird, it's the best part of the day!

Hope today is a better and successful day for you @Dordogne Damsel.

Oh @Ante1 what a shame about your plants, so disappointing for you.

I hope you feel well enough to make your English Sunday lunch for your new French man. I hope he likes both puddings. I haven't yet met a man who doesn't like Yorkshire pudding. My French sons in law love it, with plenty of gravy.

I didn't sleep very well, for 2 reasons I think. I've been worrying about the blocked pipe to the septic tank. It has caused problems before but I had it dug up and relaid and it's been OK for 2 years. It was a nightmare then. Man is coming on Wednesday.

2nd reason is that we are with daughter so it isn't my bed, not helped by OH rolling himself up like a sausage roll and nicking the duvet!

 

Good morning @Busy-Lizzie. Hope there is no major problem with septic tank. I remember you had a problem with it few years ago. Thankfully it's only small amount of my seedling, and entirely my fault. We have proverb Don't allow to be fooled by Sun in March.

 

Morning @Busy-Lizzie. I remember you having the blocked pipe fixed. Fingers crossed it can be sorted quickly. I did laugh at the image of your OH rolled up in the duvet!

 

@Ante1 we too have a saying about March weather - "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb." I hope that that old saying proves to be true this year!

Good morning all. Lovely clear blue sky but a very blustery wind. I will try to get some weeding done today but the ground, being clay, is very hard to work. I pull a weed out and a lump of soil the size of a tennis ball comes with it!! I will make the most of the day in the garden as the forecast isn’t looking brilliant for the next week. Enjoy your day
