Good morning @PatE. Its been another one of those nights where sleep has evaded me at every opportunity. Either that or my brain is preparing itself for the hour change next weekend!
@Ante1 have you started your Easter holidays yet?

 

Good morning @Ladybird4 and all to follow. No yet Liz, Easter holidays start at Thursday and last whole next week. It will give my a time to work at cottage.
It's beautiful sunny morning, like nothing happened yesterday. I'll finish my tea and must go out. Today will not be difficult. I might pop in new SM after school. It was opened last week, but there was so many people, and I don't like crowd at all.

Morning all. Just sitting down with a cuppa after a night shift.... unusual for me to work nights now, but it is my favourite shift. I am doing them a favour ( banking points for the future) . I did over 10 years on nights several years ago.

Morning @PatE, @Ladybird4, @Ante1, @Little_Weed, and Everyone. It must be the lighter mornings that's waking me up. Been a bit productive this morning already, I've cut out a top for knocking up later on. Time [I THINK] for a change of wardrobe from stretchy fleecy cosy type fabrics to more lighter clothing (I can dream can't I?).

Just having a coffee before morning seedling parade duties. Then it's full steam ahead to get to Kings Lynn Hospital for ophthalmic appointment for hubby.

Sorry you didn’t sleep well @Ladybird4 … I slept like a log … as has been usual for the past year I ‘came up to the surface’ around midnight and again at two … but didn’t actually wake, and sank back down to the depths of sleep again … I think I’m learning to shed the automatic feeling of anxiety that’s (unsurprisingly) accompanied me for the past year

It’s a dry Monday morning here in Norfolk … 4C and overcast … must put the garden waste bin out!

We are still at my daughter's near Poitiers. They have all left for school and work. We will be going home to Dordogne later this morning. There is a frost here this morning.

 

Good morning all later arrivals. Goodness @Busy-Lizzie, frost! Mind you I have heard that Scotland will be getting snow today. We have had snow at Easter before but I really don't want either of those chilly conditions this year thank you very much. True to form, its raining here but I'm going out to the nursery again this morning. I want some more Primula denticulata.

We are supposed to have an eclipse of the moon, but it’s already nearly 7 pm, but it’s still full sunlight. Sorry, I can’t workout to show you. Need hubby’s help.

 

Perhaps it’s due later in the night @PatE … thanks for mentioning it … I’ll look out for photos on appropriate internet sites

We will get the lunar eclipse later @PatE. Knowing my luck it will be obscured by cloud!
As I got dressed this morning, I felt very gratified as the results of my careful eating was obviously showing its effects and my clothes - particularly my jeans - were feeling nice and loose.
Then I realised that I hadn't fastened my jeans! Rats and drat! Ho hum.

It's heavy rain here and 5C, back to form, this weather. Forecaster says it'll get warmer by the BH weekend, which will be welcome.
Indoor jobs for me too this morning, then maybe a bit of light hopping for one or two things.

Thanks for everyone's good wishes regards my Sunday Lunch, it was perfect and the Yorkshire puddings were honestly the best I've ever made, I absolutely surprised myself. The two Frenchie' s loved them, and the syrup sponge and proper custard.

By the way @Badly_Maintained you're a bit ahead of me, I've been dating my French chap for two months now, and as adorable as is he, we're not quite ready for the wedding yet.

Unfortunately, I've gone downhill again with my chest infection, had a terrible night, but I've got an appointment at 1pm today so hopefully they'll give me some antibiotics.

I'm glad I've managed to find this site, I just need to work out how to do a shortcut to this thread.
