All your goings-on make my life seem quite humdrum by comparison. Mind you, I think I quite like "uneventful".

 

Hmmm. This could solve the conundrum of why all my male relatives monopolise the BBQ. Always assuming the position of beer in one hand and other hand wielding various BBQ tools. The atavistic need to be the fire maker!

 

Made my visit to the nursery and just arrived as it opened. I found the Primulas I wanted, unfortunately only blue shades when I would have preferred a mix. I made a snap decision and bought the last six. I don't know how they manage to make a profit with the bargain prices they charge. Maybe its quantity. These are two pictures I took the other day when I was there.

 

Could it be a cunning female plot though?

 

Anything for a quiet life @JennyJB . Escape to the garden - that's what I like to do!

 

Morning all, a dull day here but as I overdone it a bit yesterday, I am inclined to take it easy today. Having said that, we've got unexpected visitors dropping in for lunch tomorrow so just might have to do some housework/ironing/shopping!

That looks a good nursery @Ladybird4, hope primulas do well. I've had some in pots for weeks now, but I did cover them over temporarily with a perspex sheet to protect them from all this rain.
My hubby must be the odd one out @Fat Controller , he doesn't like barbecued food!
Well I'd better finish my coffee and do something.

@Bluejayway - I would love to move in there. I am so glad that its close to where I live. I never need an excuse to go to a garden centre but this goes one better - no cafe or garden furniture section, just acres and acres of plants. Half as expensive as that well known internet auction site or the big south American river site.
