      Happy Easter to you all

Woke up early as per usual, took advantage of a sunny morning to have a walk. It is going to thunder in the afternoon according to my App, infact it has already clouded over. Lamb in the pot, OH is peeling the veggies. I have already eaten more chocolate than I should have, it was the tension while supervising the boat race yesterday . On our walk we met the most gorgeous friendly dog, I could do with one of those.
Have all a lovely and hopefully sunny Easter, at least for some.

I think it’s a good thing we were both supervising the boat races yesterday @Coccinella … they took quite a bit of supervision didn’t they! Thankfully the right teams won :dbgrtmb:

Happy Birthday to @Didyw if she’s looking in …, :birthday:

Morning everyone, have a lovely Easter Sunday.
Very grey and breezy here. Think I'll have a lazy day, this hour change messes with my body clock.:recliner:

Morning all! It's cloudier than yesterday but so far still dry. Wet stuff is gently blowing on the line.
The Easter Bunny hasn't brought any eggs here but there might just be a box of chocolates later that were left over from Christmas, tucked away somewhere not obvious so they'll (hopefully!) still be there when I go to get them out.

I was up late today, even allowing for clock changes. Much weather in the night so I didn't get much sleep. It carried on chucking it down till about 10:30 but has now stopped and I can see blue bits.

Enjoy your chocolate @Ladybird4. None for me today. The little Milka eggs have been on sale for weeks and I think I've had my fill.

Stormy stuff expected tomorrow so PT emptying today and compost spreading on the tomatoes bed, then hibernating from the rain - again.

Have a lovely day everyone, whatever you're doing and eating.

                    Hi all

It was supposed to be a lovely day, but it is foggy and cold.
I have a lovely large Lindor egg, which will probably not survive the day.

it is packed tight, the RV has two back seats that fold forward, all packed tight. I might have to keep a small bag at my feet. Did get up some plants yesterday to take with. Anyway, packing up this laptop to take of course. Later.

Safe journey, @redstar. Lindor is my favourite chocolate, @Punkdoc, enjoy!
I have a bag of Ikea mini eggs, with a hazelnut filling, very similar to Lindt mini eggs I used to buy years ago. I think they stopped doing them. I’ve just spent an hour in the garden chopping back the triffids, very satisfying but scary how many more there are. Grey and dull here, but thankfully not raining. Doubly glad we got out in the sunshine yesterday and had a decent walk. I shall go and start cooking dinner in a minute, Turkey with pigs in blankets and Yorkshire puddings. Very Christmassy! I do actually have some left over Christmas puddings in the cupboard, but that would be going too far! Chocolate to follow!

I didn't buy any Easter eggs but our lunch guests gave us a box of chocolates.

There was loud bang in the night just as I was falling asleep. It was thunder followed by a hail storm which made a heck of a racket on the roof, then there was heavy rain. It was a lovely sunny morning but starting raining yet again as our guests left. We are on an orange flood alert and a village near here is flooded. Our local river, the Dronne, has overflowed into the neighbouring fields. More rain is forecast, don't know when I'll be able to do any gardening or mow the grass.

                            Evening people.

I hope Easter Sunday has been a pleasant day for all, whether you ‘do’ Easter or not.

I didn’t get much of a lie in as Dad was worried about something so I went to see him (frailty is a horrible thing. For anyone with loved ones who are not in good health/mobility, you have my empathy).

I pottered in the garden for half an hour, but it was a tad chilly, then went to MIL and ended up bathing her dog as he was stinking after his woodland walk. He was good as gold (ok maybe silver) and I got absolutely soaked! I really enjoyed it though.

Not bothering with a roast dinner today - jacket spuds on the menu instead.

                            Take care all.

                              Good evening.
I hope you've all had a lovely Easter Day.
It seems many of you have enjoyed lots of chocolate- none in our house as I don't particularly like it.
Sunny spells here but it's been too chilly to spend much time outside. I'm sorry to read of bad weather for some of you.
I hope your Dad is ok, @AuntyRach
