A very good morning one and all. @Jazmine, what's not to like about chocolate. Chocolate comes from cacao which is a tree. A tree is a plant therefore chocolate is salad!

 

Hmmmm still a bit too dark to see whats going on out there but the cat has just come in and he's soaking wet. Not good!

Glad you enjoyed the Isle of Wight @Loofah and that your tomatoes recovered.

I enjoyed Easter Sunday. Our friends liked the lunch. We had chicken and mushroom vol au vents with some green salad, roast beef with Yorkshire pudding etc and peach tiramisu. I had a glut of small golden peaches last year so I froze quite a lot. Lamb is more traditional for Easter but the SM was doing a half price offer on fillet steak joints. It was good to see our friends as I've hardly seen them since I moved house 3 years ago.

It's sunny at the moment but yet more rain is forecast for this afternoon. ☹️

How’s the invading rodent problem @Punkdoc?
Here in Norfolk at least we started with a bright morning to welcome April … but the skies have clouded over already and it looks as if some April Showers may be on their way. I’ve tried and failed to catch OH with an April Fool … anyone been caught yet?
At one time my brother used to set up quite elaborate ones getting groups of his friends to do all sorts of silly stuff … one year he had a local pub landlord setting up a refreshment station for a non-existent cycle race and his children were going to have to run alongside the cyclists to retrieve the plastic cups because of the litter laws. The landlord didn’t twig until Bro just happened to pass by as he was setting it all up … and Bro couldn’t help giggling …

the heavens have opened. Heavy rain all night and now, today is Eemaischen a traditional Easter monday market for handmade crafts, I am so sorry for people on the stalls, they are not going to sell a lot today.

Good morning all. I'm slightly pleased that Easter is over because I'm exhausted. No rain here, but high wind which brings Saharan sand, and all is covered with it. Hope to have some decent weather next week, because I have free next few days, and it will be nice if I can work at cottage. But first, I'll continue with easy morning.
