So glad all ok @Liriodendron, thankful you are warm and fed, and charged up!
It’s good you are much improved, @lizzie27. Maybe you will be able to work out a lower, less frequent dose of the steroids to keep you comfortable?
I have to say, I had a really lovely day. I got to cuddle three miniature donkeys after our breakfast, then headed down to the seaside. We had a really long walk, the full length of the promenade plus a stroll along the riverbank in the park. Didn’t see any otters, but got to pet lots of dogs! We did over 10,000 steps, pretty tired when we got home, but very pleased with ourselves. The weather hasn’t been conducive to our usual long walks, I’m afraid we’ve been getting rather sluggish.

Hello there everyone. After yesterday's lovely weather it is raining again here. Anyway enough of all that. Great to read that you are getting some relief now for your fibromyalgia @lizzie27.
@Blue arbour congratulations on your money raised for such a wonderful cause.
I'll bet those miniature donkeys are really cute @Ergates - impressed with your walk!
I hope all is OK with @Obelix-Vendée as I've not 'seen' her and has anyone heard from @Badly_Maintained? I think I'm all organised for today's coffee morning. I found out that the funeral of the OH of one of the helpers is on February 5th. I will be attending that. Hope you all have wonderful days and that those who may have celebrated Burns Night last night are not too hung over this morning!

Good morning @Ladybird4 and all to follow. It's nice sunny and warm morning. Around 9 o'clock must visit our janitor. He want to make a small pond, but don't have too much space. Next week I'll go to GC and probably buy him a small, already made pond. It's just for few plants, no fishes. If it stays like this outside, I might do something in my front garden, so many things need to be pruned. First must finish my tea. Hope you will all have lovely Sunday.

          Good morning everyone!

Cloudy and dismal weather forecast but the sun is up.

Good morning @Ante1 and @Tui34. @Ante1 that is such a kind thing to do for the janitor. Even a small pond can attract in many interesting creatures looking for a drink. Loving the little kitty on your picture @Tui34

Quiet day planned here, we have a forecast of rain, rain, rain. Although dry at the moment it’s blooming chilly. A day for a Sunday roast and catch up with my gardening mags. I might even get round to sorting out my seed box and getting an order in.

Have fingers crossed @Liriodendron gets the power back as planned and maybe eaerlier and glad to hear you’re feeling a bit better @lizzie27

Hope everyone else has a relaxing/productive/recuperative Sunday (delete as applicable!)

Oh, I also need to do the Birdwatch, I completely forget about it yesterday

                Morning folks. ‘orrible weather.
No gardening today! I don’t really fancy venturing out to do Sunday visiting, but dog cuddles and homemade cake might lure me in.

Fingers crossed @Liriodendron ’s power is restored, and that nobody else has any weather-related woes.

I think Bird Watch will be off the cards for many today. I wonder why they pick this weekend?

Have a decent day all, whatever that means for you.

What a foul day here. Woke to heavy rain and strong winds, the trees are waving about like mad. Still on our second cup of coffee, definitely no plans to go out of the door today!
After reading a post on here, sorry, can’t remember whose, I’ve been determined to make a bread and butter pudding using panettone and fresh cherries. I have the panettone, but so far I have bought several packs of cherries, and ended up eating them all! I’ve bought cream, but had to use it up for something else as I had run out of cherries. And vice versa! So today, I have cherries, I have cream, and I have no gardening or trips out to distract me! Third ( or fourth) time lucky.

I woke at 8.20, thought I should get up, then, all of a sudden, it was 10.20! How did that happen?
It's a very dull day, but the gusty winds, forecast for around midday, haven't appeared yet.
I follow a donkey sanctuary on FB. It's in Sidmouth - wonder if it's the one @Ergates supports. A friend of mine has donkeys - very engaging critters.
Our chicken and apricots were, indeed, 'lush'. Not a dish for 'every day', as it was quite rich and calorific!
I agree that even a small pond is worthwhile @Ante1
Hope you're back 'on' now @Liriodendron
The panettone b & b pud was me! We were given one with cherries in it! Enjoy!

Afternoon all. Just in from coffee morning and boy what a change in the weather since I left earlier. It has gone really cold, its raining (still) but the wind is blowing a hooley now. I think I might have a major problem doing my birdwatch @Butterfly6.

Good afternoon everyone, so glad to hear that @Liriodendron is OK, hope all others in the affected zones are OK too.
We were out with family for a meal last night, not for Burns night but my Birthday which is actually today, it's also Australia day so if @PatE is looking in have a good un!
Shame about the weather, my parents told me it was like this the night I arrived, so history repeating itself
