Oh what a shame about the pub in Wymondham @Busy-Lizzie but I was glad to read that you found a former favourite was still open and lovely food by the sound of it.

@Ladybird4 have a good evening, see you tomorrow.

@Blue arbour I agree with you about housework, it's not that bad and it's satisfying when it's done. I even like ironing. I don't like folding clothes that haven't been ironed. What I really don't like is putting on duvet covers, especially when the bed is king size.

I hope you have a great time in London @Ante1 .

I’m sorry to hear that you are feeling so discombobulated after yoga @Obelix-Vendée. It usually has the opposite effect, ie, making you feel relaxed. I wonder why you are having different effects from it. I hope you soon feel more like your usual self.

Duvet covers are a 2 adult and 1 cat job in our house @Busy-Lizzie. Cosmos loves to help.

@Blue arbour I have no idea. I come out all relaxed and go to bed tired then can't drop off. I even chewed a candied hibiscus flower last night as they're supposed to help with sleep but it didn't work. Early night for me tonight to try and catch up. Lots to do tomorrow.

                Have a great time @Ante1.

Peaceful night all. It's a bit exciting here again but not as loud and wild as it has been recently.

                  Hi @Obelix-Vendée
My OH has problems sleeping. I've not heard about the candied hibiscus flower. I'll look into that. If it helps, maybe we could grow our own and produce her sleep aid on a small scale.

                    Hello February.jpg
White rabbits everyone and a pinch and a punch for the first of the month. How on earth did we get to February already? According to the weather forecast, today is going to be the better of this weekend so once I have replaced all the stuff I had to move for the plumber I am hoping a little bit of gardening might be on the cards.

                      Good morning,

Well, here we are in February. I think January seems to have passed more quickly this year for some reason - don’t know why, as I’ve done nothing different :).
Anyway, white rabbits to you all.

It looks rather drab out there this morning but it’s not raining yet. Not sure what the temperature is like as I haven’t stepped outdoors yet.

Hope you manage a bit of gardening today @Ladybird4.

Morning folks. Did a 12 hour day yesterday so didn’t have time to say hello.

January has felt like a loooooong month to me. February is nearly Spring though so progress is being made!

Have a lovely weekend folks - catch you all later.

                          Good morning all.

January has passed quite quickly for me but the older I get the quicker time passes!

I will be preparing food for lunch tomorrow when friends are coming.

I hope you all enjoy your days.

It's seemed a long month to me, too, @AuntyRach, but I can see the days lengthening now and the birds are very frisky!
4 weeks today the caravan site opens up and, while it'll probably be too cold to stay there till the end of March, we can go for days out and clean/air it.
Enjoy your trip to London @Ante1

January has whizzed by but I've been busy which helps. Noisy weather again last night with lots of rain. Calm so far today but miserable and grey and will get wet again later. There's nothing I can do outside that doesn't involve walking on sodden grass or beds so indoor jobs for me again.

You can also try hibiscus or chamomile tisane @Fourmerkland.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing.

Afternoon folks, I didn't log on till gone 10 pm last night, too busy reading a book I wanted to finish so just had a quick skim back.

Yesterday was a lovely day so I was able to garden in two stints. Haven't got the stamina to keep going all day like I used to. Did more pruning, uncovered more bulbs and this afternoon I've done a bit more although it's been quite overcast and cold compared to yesterday. Definitely Spring soon as I spotted the first blossom on my orange witch hazel.

We were really pleased that there are a couple of lone snowdrops coming up under the trees in the old apple orchard we walk through. There are usually a good few clumps on the banks of the nearby brook but this is the first time we've seen them a good few metres away. I've also got three clumps of snowdrops I planted last year in the base of our front hedge but can't see any buds yet.

Hope you're all getting things done and enjoying the weekend - take care, especially @Goldenlily26 and anybody else suffering.
