Yawn yawn, wakey wakey autumn 2017

Good morning fellow WW'ers.

Overcast and on the chilly side this morning. Didn't make it as far as the GC yesterday, planning to go on Sunday now instead Spent that time researching ferns to go in my shady corner. I would prefer evergreens but they would need to survive in pots; so lots to think about before I put my hands in my pocket.

Found a ladybird in the garden this morning. Silly thing had landed in a bucket of water Carefully lifted it out and put it on a rose leaf to dry out Haven't seen many at all this year.

Hoping the sun will come out later, there is somewhere I've wanted to visit for some time now and if I don't go soon it will have to wait until next year.

Good day everyone
I am happy to report, @"M", that I got quite a bit of the laundry done yesterday and everything dried on the lines overnight. No need to go commando today

Got some work to quick get done and my client is coming by this morning to pick up her cushions and pillows. That will make it much easier to navigate to the front door as they (21 of them) take up a lot of space in the front hall.

It's supposed to clear up for a few hours this afternoon and I plan to be outside playing in it.

The sun is shining and the weather is starting to warm up, so a very positive outlook for the day

Managed to have a lie in this morning for the first time in a long while. Do I feel better for it? Not quite yet ... can't help feeling I'm running late: except, I'm not!

Laundry is drying on the line and I even feel like putting the bread machine on (haven't done that in a while either).

Are you certain they want people to attend?

hmm, not sure what a lie in is. I'm guessing it is being able to sleep a little later than usual. Wish I could have some of those. Most mornings when I wake, I can't get back to sleep but getting up fairly early means I can accomplish a lot before lunch.

It's still pitch here and the guessers told us to expect rain and I have plenty of inside work to do so it's all good.

You are correct I've always been an early riser to the point when my lads were teens and whined about wanting a lie in I would suggest they get a head start and have it before they go to sleep
In recent months I'm waking ridiculously early and I know it has been taking its toll; so, the fact my body actually *forgot* to get me out of bed at silly o'clock is something of a bonus.
