Good day everyone
We are looking forward to another dry, hot day here. I don't mind - she says as she's listening to the sprinkler system do it's rounds

Taking OH to a clinic for him to have a colonoscopy, then picking him up after the procedure. Should be able to get a couple of loads of laundry done and on the lines whilst the fun is going on.

I hope everyone has a super day and do play safe please!

Morning all, brighter start today-will be outside after my cup of tea!

Lovely views outside-noticed in the distance the clouds look a little like mountain peaks-beautiful!

 

Morning all. I've been good this morning. I'm not a morning person. I never have been. It's best not to try to engage me in conversation first thing. This morning instead of laying in bed thinking of all the jobs that haven't been getting done recently, I got up and got stuck in.



I had a good 45 minute session of shovelling. I spread some fresh manure on the spot under the shady tree. The ground has never been worked here and was really, really hard. I had to leave the manure on top. I then covered it with a layer of bark chippings. It will be interesting to see how the dogs react to it. So far they have showed mo interest. With the bark chippings on top it actually looks quite nice. I shall probably continue with the chippings to cover all of that end of the garden eventually.

I then shovelled several barrows full of topsoil on to the rockery under the bedroom window. I still have a few plants I bought in the sale that need a home to go to. I'll "try" to get them in at some point today.

I start work at 9 today so I just have time to freshen up and make myself look presentable.
