After a very wet and windy night we have a damp and windy morning but it's much milder than the last couple of days. It's now 47.5F (8.6C) which is warmer than the last two days have been but will feel colder

I'm still trying to catch up on things after being away and gradually getting there. I've just booked another holiday for us because they were chucking money off at us. I told them it was too expensive and they recalculated. I think they made a mistake and took too much off (don't ask, don't get ). It worked out an additional £1,000 off the discount already offered and was an 'offer we couldn't refuse' (we've just been to Sicily and went to the place where they filmed The Godfather ). With both those discounts and the £500 voucher they gave me for explaining to them how they could improve on our last holiday with them, it has brought the price down from expensive to very reasonable

Lots of admin to do today and also need to give Mrs Shiney a haircut.

Did you know that the film Song of the South has not seen the light of day since 1986. It has been deemed racist!

Disney will not release it on video or DVD.

I can understand, to a small extent, that it's not a true picture of the situation at the time but I think that kids stories are just that.

What about the woman last week who wants Sleeping Beauty removed from schools because Prince Charming wasn't able to ask her whether she minded him kissing her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Idiot!
