    Aloha everyone,

    Yesterday was hot and sunny but this morning is mild and very foggy.

    We need to go shopping and shall also pop into a nursery as we need a load more pots - people dump their old pots into a big cage and anyone can help themselves. We have plenty of small pots but need a few hundred more 2 litre and bigger ones.

          Had a restless night what with the wind beating and shaking the house in between torrents of freezing rain and snow. There's lots of ice built up on the trees and their branches are starting to strain under the weight. :frown: I've spent a fair amount of time in front of the computer the last few days anyway so at least I'm not wasting lovely weather. Been busy booking rail passages and tour tickets and such for my trip over to England next month. Quite excited!

          So many of my seed packets call for direct planting "as soon as the soil can be worked", which it looks will be several more weeks.:doh: The ground is still frozen hard with the exception of the areas under the cold frames. This is an unusually cold spring so I have a feeling that sometime in June Mother Nature will flip on the heat to high right after I get back and I will probably be out in the gardens most days:)

          The Commonwealth games have delayed the airing of my beloved Corrie - how dare them - they should all do their playing early and leave my show alone! :snorky: Oh well, I shall have all the floors mopped before the intro music plays. :)
