That shouldn't be the problem. You should adjust within 10 minutes. Go back and ask them to check that the lenses exactly match the prescription. It only takes them a minute to check them on their machine. Do you have your old lenses? If they find they have made them wrongly (happens more often than you would think) then ask them to put the old lenses back in until the next lot arrives.

My old glasses are quite a bit different from the new ones. If I put the new ones on and then place the old ones in front of them then I can see so much better! I might have to go back and have them checked that they are the right prescription. Thanks Shiney.

        Aloha everyone,

@moyra if they check the new glasses and say that they are the correct prescription then say to them that in that case they must have measured your eyesight incorrectly. It can't possibly be right if you can see better when correcting their new prescription by putting your old glasses in front of the new. The new are supposed to be the best prescription, therefore you shouldn't be able to improve on it.

It looks set fair for another hot day. :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day

        Aloha!

Good morning everyone. Shiney, I shall just have to wait and see if my eyes adjust to these specs. Do take care in the garden today no more over doing things. You know how long you worked to cause your back problems so make sure it is not so long today. Do you still have Michael to help you in the garden. You certainly could do with more help.
Have a good day everyone, take care in the sun and stay safe and well. God bless.:wub2:

                Aloha everyone,

Sunny and blue skies here.

@moyra it really shouldn't be necessary to wait. If the glasses aren't right now then all they can be doing is straining your eyes. :grphg:

As it's a bit cooler today I hope to get in some more gardening. :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day

                        Aloha everyone,

The garden and the wildlife are loving it :blue thumb: and I can stop using the sprinkler for a while. I haven't been able to weed some parts of the veg patch as the ground has been rock hard. I've watered half the area by sprinkler and was able to weed some of that area. I'll plant our some runner beans at the weekend.

Keep well and have a great day

                        Aloha!

Good Afternoon everyone. Went down to the opticians and she took the glasses and checked them. They are definitely right for the prescription so just a case of getting used to them.
I hope I hear from DVLA soon. I went down on the bus to the opticians and got a taxi back.
