            @wiseowl Although you're enjoying it I hope the grandkids aren't tiring you out too much :). I guess that your four legged friends are keeping them busy. :heehee:

            We have our nephew and his wife coming this morning after they drop their daughter off at the grandparents. A very nice couple who pop in for the day whenever they're in this part of the world (they live on the south coast).

            It appears that rain is on its way so I shall have to leave the hedge cutting for another time. I don't think we shall be seeing Michael again as he hasn't been around for a couple of months or more. The neighbours that also used him haven't seen him either. :scratch: Fortunately I have been able to do more of the work and we haven't really needed to replace him yet. I may want, at some time, to get someone for one off type jobs.

                We don't know whether he has given up gardening, has found more lucrative gardening work or his vehicle has finally gone to that great car park in the sky. There's no point in phoning him as he never answers anyway!

                      I have just seen two adverts from gardeners in our village magazine. :blue thumb: I'll contact them when we need some work done. We always give a full day's work to them.

                          I'm here just in time to join you an after dinner coffee and maybe later a night cap.

                          Been a weird day. Busy but not accomplishing much of anything.

                          The guessers have promised us rain later and I hope they are correct. I've put down grass seed and soil on various patches of my lawn and free water would be a bonus.

                          I hope everyone gets safely to bed. :)

                            We had a lovely day of sunshine once it dried out but I've just had disappointing news :cry3:….the heat can be going on till September / October @kazzawazza is to blame for this shocking news mate :snorky: ;)
